These guys had the Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. Haven't sen this apart from in Hiroshima. So good and worth the trip alone. Run by a few young guys who have fun whilst serving great food. The beer glasses were icy cold. Look for the plastic mannequins out the front.

Okonomiyaki are large, layered pancakes that can be cooked with a range of meat, fish, vegetable ingredients. Gottsui staff prepare them before you (if you sit at counter) - with passion and precision. There are other good options on menu (soba, salads etc..) if pancakes are not your thing
. The place was crammed and was full of people having a grand time when we were there (a wednesday night) - so while the decoration is simple, there was a great atmosphere in the place which added to the experience.

This is a nice friendly okonomiyaki place near Roppongi hills and Tokyo midtown. Sitting at the bar and watching them cook your food is pretty good (or there are booths with a hot plate). I had some good okonomiyaki (Japanese style pancake) and my other half had yakisoba (noodles cooked on the hot plate). We had a couple of sides too. It was all pretty nice. The sake was good too.

The staff were very friendly and spoke reasonable English, and an english menu was available.
