If you've ever stayed in Tokyo hotels you'll know that not many places off very large rooms but the room here for two people really was pretty small but fully featured. It's on a relatively quiet street just a few minutes walk from both Mita and Tamachi stations. Staff were absolutely fine and check-in and check-out were smooth. Provided the price is right and you can cope with a small room, this is a pretty good bet.

Fairly average hotel for an overnight stay. One train stop from Shinagawa, so easy connection and fairly easy to find. Rooms are what one expects for the price range. Staff was friendly and spoke some english. No onsen or buffet breakfast at this APA. Basic overnight hotel.

I think this is my third Tokyo APA hotel I've stayed in. It's a business hotel with small rooms. Here are the reasons why you would stay there: 1) Location; and 2) Clean rooms with quality facilities. If you have money and want a bigger room, try the higher-end chain hotels like the Hyatt or Intercontinental.

One thing strange about the room was the door to the toilet. It was installed with an opaque window that directly lined up with a mirror that you can see from your bed. You can't see anything in the bathroom, but you can make out silhouettes, which still feels kind of wrong.

Stayed in a double room for 3 nights over new year. Did not include breakfast so cannot comment on that

Pros:
- Location right next to Mita line, which connects directly to Haneda and Narita airport, and easily to Tokyo metro network (Mita line belongs to Toei line network, which is not included in all subway day tickets).
- Convenient store and supermarket just outside
- staff speak good English and are friendly
- good price for the season

Cons:
- very small hotel (Not much of a lobby to speak of, and half of it is constantly taken up by luggage from check-out guests)
- 14 storeys and about 10 rooms per floor, but only one lift, which is shared by hotel staff (housekeeping with large laundry bags) -> long waiting time for lift
- laundry bags with bed linen not only occupy the lifts, but also block the corridors outside the rooms
- requested for high floor and quiet room but was given low floor facing the road. Fortunately it was public holiday with little traffic, otherwise the traffic noise would have been too much.
- very small room. Only enough floor space to open one suitcase, and hard for two people to pass each other in the room.
- Shoddy housekeeping:
- blanket was laid upside down on the bed when we checked in (open side of the blanket cover facing pillows)
- wife put up the "eco" sign by mistake thinking it is the "make up room" sign. In the end towels were replaced but the bed was not made. (shouldn't it be the other way round?)
- next day bed was made, but we could have done a better job ourselves
- carpeted floor was not very well vacuumed

The only hotel of the same class during our trip which did not provide humidifier and no heated toilet seat.

Overall not a bad experience, but compared to other hotels we had in Japan, this was below par.

Bed was soft, which you may or may not like.

Room Tip: Try to get high floor, not facing the main road.

My daughter and I spent a week in Tokyo for sightseeing and shopping. We chose this hotel for the price and proximity to the train. Both were excellent. The room was clean and the hotel is extremely quiet and easy to sleep in. Staff was friendly and very helpful However, the room was way, way, way too small for two women for a week. There is no closet, no dresser, so we had to rely on taking things in and out of our suitcases. There was no place to put our purchases. (As I am writing this my daughter is walking across the bed because with me seated at the desk there is no way to get across the room!) By the end of day 3 our room looked like an episode of the TV show Hoarders. If you are just staying a night or two this place is great. However, for long term it does get too small awfully quick. There is barely a lobby. If there was a lobby, at least I could have gone and used the computer when I couldn't sleep. (My daughter lives in Japan so she didn't have the problems with sleep that I did.)
