For ¥1500 (or less if you use a Roppongi Hills Card) it's good value. The museum has interesting exhibits, it's a good size and the cafe has a spectacular view - it's worth going just for that.

This was an amazing Museum high up in the Mori Arts Center with fantastic views , a great variety of modern art beautifully displayed. Helpful intertested staff, in the heart of Rappongi Hills which is a Mecca for expats. We enjoyed this art museum most of all those we visited in Japan along with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa.

Enjoy great views and modern art. When it's sunny, Mt Fuji looks amazing. The art can be offensive. It depends on what's on display.

Most art museums are so big that one runs out of steam half way. Not here. The place is beautifully laid out with lighting and space used cleverly to show off the exhibits. There is something of interest for everyone here - even an 18+ area for 'naughty' works. The staff are extremely helpful and multi-language recording machines are free to borrow. Given that the museum is co-located with the Mori Tower observation deck, the total package is unbeatable in interest and value.

Great staff, great price, go back every few months to see the new exhibits. I can't wait to go and see the latest. When you go, be sure to check out the roof view.
