“Best choice in Roppoingi/Minato-ward area”

This hotel has been a regular choice for us for nearly a decade, we've tried some others as there have been many new hotels opened in Tokyo in the last few years, however, none of them beats Grand Hyatt Tokyo. The property is tasteful, location is very convenient and the service is consistently good. We also love the complete blackout system available in the room so we can sleep very well and combat jet lag properly. Much better option than Ritz Carlton which is also in the Roppongi - we stayed there recently and it was nowhere near as nice as Grand Hyatt.

This hotel has been running for while now and style on the edge of what's still classy modern designed hotel.
Probably the best Restaurant complex in the same time... you could stay here for a while without going outside...service always on top ... that's also what I like, Congrats.

Room Tip: there are all good!

The Grand Hyatt is a great hotel to stay--the staff were very attentive to my 87 year old mother and helped to get her situated with a wheelchair right away. Everyone spoke great English, which is nice when your Japanese isn't so great.

Room service was good-very quick and delicious.

The rooms are spacious and clean and the bathroom was luxurious.

It was very challenging finding a hotel in this area that was available when we wanted to stay here, so we were very pleased in finding this place!

I stay here on business because my office is in the Morimoto Tower which is conveniently connected to the Grand Hyatt. I prefer the Park Hyatt even though this location is more modernized from the old school Park Hyatt. Service is not quite the same here but the best part about this place is the amazing spa connected to the gym! I practically went every day after a long day of work and jet lag.

I stayed here for 10 days in June while working in Tokyo.
Location of the hotel was great, right in the heart of Roppongi. Staff were great, all spoke english well and were very informative.
Gym was adequate, pool was great to look at but I did not use it.
Many restaurant options on site and hundreds within a 10 min walk. Close to Tokyo Metro as well.
Rooms were very clean and good size for Japan. Shower was very relaxing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor to have a better view of he city.

Stayed for 2 nights with husband and 2y son in June after staying for 5 nights in a local chain hotel. Love the room size, very spacious for Tokyo standard and the bed is always good as any other Hyatt hotel in the world. Good amenities provided in the room. Love everything in the hotel, the only let down would be lack of local Tokyo feel in the hotel and surrounding for those who is after local feel. It's worth mentioning that my 2 year old son has eye infection on the day of check out and the duty manager responded immediately and even met us personally at the club lounge to provide necessary information. It is good to know that they have the ability to summon a doctor 24/7 to the hotel. My son condition was mild so we opt for going to the clinic next door (in a shopping mall). The duty manager is aware that we are checking out that day and asked us not to worry about the check out time. The little things like this really make a different when you are in a foreign country. Top notch!

I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi 3 times in the last 1.5yrs. Nothing bad can really be said about it - great service, facilities (the pool is AMAZING, must visit), and rooms are fine (though a bit small). Issue is, for $500 a night, there are better options out there (The Peninsula, Four Seasons, for example). If you really want to be based in Roppongi, by all means, stay here. But for business travelers, Marunouchi (central Tokyo) has much better options.
