I chose the Hotel Nikko based on an Expedia sale as a stop close to the Narita airport on my way out of the country after a long business trip. I wasn't disappointed. The Hotel Nikko is located in sort of a resort district with lots of malls and restaurants nearby. The waterfront area has lots to explore for vacationers. The area is very beautiful and a steady stream of weddings were being performed at the Hotel that weekend. Rooms were very clean and staff was very attentive. The hotel offered a shuttle bus directly to the Narita airport the next day that I used.

We stayed at Hotel Nikko for the last three nights of our holiday to Japan and were delighted with everything this hotel had to offer. We chose the location due to ease of transport to Disneyland and Disney Sea. We used the hotel shuttle bus which was very convenient and ran late into the night.
The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful and all spoke English.
Our room had a balcony overlooking Tokyo Bay and was spacious and luxurious.
The subway in very close and there are a number of restaurants at the hotel and close by. The nearby shopping centre is very convenient and the hotel is situated right next to the Statue of Liberty!
Overall, we loved everything about this hotel. We also enjoyed staying in Shinjuku with the hustle and bustle of Tokyo but if you are going to Disneyland this is definitely the place to stay. A great way to end our holiday in Japan and very good value for money.

Maybe I am missing something here, but I find the Nikko Hotel Tokyo just so so. It's a nice hotel with clean rooms and service is good. But really nothing outstanding.
The hotel looks from the outside more like the LA county jail - but it fits right in because the neighborhood of that part of Tokyo is a concrete wasteland. The layout is really awkward, it takes me minutes to get from the elevator to my room. Where did the guy who designed it go to architecture school?
The breakfast is ok, but it's the same every day - really boring and unimaginative.
So if you have to stay in the area, it's not a bad choice. But Tokyo has much more to offer!

One of the most beautiful high end hotels I have stayed in in Japan - the rooms have Amazing views of Tokyo Harbour and the location is close to the subway station, very easy to reach. Plus the nearby shopping centers offer entertainment, shopping and cheaper dining than the hotel restaurants, if budget is an issue.
Beautifully furnished rooms and all the high end amenities that Japanese hotels normally offer.
Do carry your own luggage to the room, the bell girls/boys can be very slow.

Situating central Odaiba, walking distance to all major entertainment, shopping and museums on Odaiba. Services are amazing, staffs are friendly (and helpful), everyone speaks English and are very courteous. Facility is very clean, and tidy. Some in room facilities do show signs of age, however you can also tell that they do put in the effort in maintaining and up-keeping.

Hotel also offers shuttle services to various destination, including Haneda and Disney.

Only down side is it cost 310 yen to travel out of Odaiba on the Yurikamome, but if you are not in a rush, you can always take the loop bus to Tamachi or Shinagawa for JR access, which cost about 200 yen.

Absolutely loved our time here. It is so close to everything. We were upgraded to a harbour view room which had all the amenities. The staff were very helpful even though they couldn't speak excellent english.
One negative is that you have to pay to use the pool... i think it was around $30aud for the day... however when you are busy exploring the area you have no time for the pool anyway!

When can I come back?
I started to relax when I walked past the potted sweetly-smelling flowers into the lobby. I checked in efficiently but 6 hours early. Unfortunately there was no room available, so I went into Ginza (15 minutes on the upmarket train, with the Daiba station at the door) to while away a few hours and have lunch.
On my return I gave them my "ticket" and found I had been allocated a great room by the friendly registration clerk, who also efficiently ensured my bag was waiting in the room. "Park view" actually in my case meant view of harbour, although not the rainbow bridge- because Odaiba is an island. Very comfortable, spacious room, timeless decor (not old, just not starkly modern), wonderful bed with real feather pillows ensured a wonderful night's sleep.
Part of this hotel's charm is the peaceful location and restful atmosphere. The staff were attentive without being over the top. Their English was pretty good- certainly better than my Japanese. The door lady thought I needed an umbrella when I left to go on a walk in the evening, so she fetched me one.
I was glad to be out of the hustle and bustle, but I guess that might not suit some. And finally the third wonderful is the pool. My room rate included access to the spa. Warm pool, great hot tub, relaxing ambiance.
I don't want to leave and can't wait to come back.

Room Tip: I can't imagine a bad room
