“Most beautiful breakfast view.......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

The best thing i liked in Grand Pacific Le Daiba is the breakfast view at the 30th floor..... for daily breakfast to have an astonishing view like in an observatory is just unusual, but Grand Pacific has it. The location is also very good being surrounded with malls, walking distance, and the train station just at the ground floor. The staff though were not very nice, especially when we arrived and they did not lend us the luggage carts for no acceptable reason..... it was such a dismay that some of our tour friends had to argue with the hotel management for their rudeness...... guess they really have to work out on hospitality..... very un-Japanese.......

Nothing so special to make me feel memorable of this hotel other than location which is stone-throw away from two giant mall (one is Daibacity the new and destination local people recently). It is huge. Service is standard. Swimming pool can't be accessed by under 16 years old (whata bummer!!). I booked for triple room, but found that my room is double one. They quickly change the room to tripple, but too late my little boy has jumped on the bed of double room (feel bad to imagine the sheet need to be changed only for the jump - not environtmental friendly, but....). Breakfast buffet is standard. Nice but nothing special.

Room Tip: Choose room facing Tokyo Bay/Rainbow Bridge.

This hotel has a great location with subway stop across street to get around Tokyo and several malls close by it with a free shuttle for you. The staff is very helpful and speak good enough English. The room is large for Japan. Great bathroom with large assortment of toiletries. Only reason not getting 5th star was carpet needed shampooing and called for assistance with wifi in the room and was told not available (which others did get with a router)

This is a great hotel for couples. The hotel is beautiful with European style including lots of marble, woods, and a grand staircase. The room was large with a marble bathroom and great views of the Rainbow Bridge. The buffet was also very good. The only drawback is the location. It's in Odaiba which is not in the center of Tokyo. I prefer to walk to lots of restaurants, shopping, etc like in Shibuya, Shinjuku, or Ginza. They have a convenient monorail connected to the hotel so you can get around so it depends on your priorities.

We stayed here for six nights. Staff here is very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient, it has direct access path to Daiba train station. And a few big shopping malls are within walking distance.
The highlight of the hotel is they encourage you to save environment. If you don't need them to clean your room, you will get one coupon which worth 1000 yen (maximum 2). This is really good.
And different than some of the previous reviews, they actually allowed us to leave luggage in the hotel before and after check out. We went for Kyoto after 6 days in Tokyo, and they provided courtesy to keep our luggage for 5 days!

Excellent stay - well connected to the city and great position on the waterfront. The room we stayed in was a bit tired looking and needed a renovation and would opt for the rainbow bridge view next time which was slightly higher price - although we still had a great view over the water which was really relaxing. The staff all excellent - probably some of the best service I have experienced. They couldn't do enough to help and made our stay and absolute pleasure - this was especially important on such a short and quite last minute trip (the concierge was amazing and gave us really good advice to see the sights during our stay) Would definitely recommend!

Room Tip: Although it's really easy - the cost of travel to the metro from the hotel can get quite expensi...

We stayed here for a week. The hotel is accessed by the mono rail and car of course. We travelled around with a Rail Pass and found it quite convenient and very quiet and great views. The hotel was fully booked and lots happening while we were there. Great restaurants in the hotel and outside there is a great big shopping centre with lots of restaurants too. There is also a 24hour shop on the ground floor for any snacks or whatever you want. It is very close to Haneda airport as we arrived late at night we arranged for a pickup at the airport and it takes about 20mins to the hotel. Would recommend this to other travellers. We got a pack which was great. Oct 2013

Room Tip: We were on 14th floor and had a great view sorry not sure what direction we were but there are view...
