“Great Location, very convenient.”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

Very close to shops and transportation, there are restaurants and supermarkets within the complex, a major train station is across the road, hotel rooms are comfortable, a very good option for travellers not very familiar with the city.

This hotel is very conveniently located for sightseeing in Tokyo. I stayed in the N.tower which was very modern. The rooms were nice but very small, which is adequate unless you have a lot of luggage in which case it would be cramped. There is a charge to use the swimming pool (500 Yen in am, 1,000 Yen in PM). I would stay here again.

Location was convenient - across the road from Shinagawa station. The rooms are small but are kept clean. Service was prompt and friendly. It gets really busy especially around the holidays. There is a food court in the building - very handy for those evenings when the weather takes a turn for the worse. You get free wifi in the room but if you want to connect in the lobby, you will need to pay extra for the service.

I stayed @ the prince east wing a couple of years ago and it was clean, tidy and tiny. This time we booked 4 nights in the annex wing - firstly to get to the annex you have to convolute through all the tourist shops downstairs, catch the lift to the 7th floor reception deck and then another lift to your floor. You soon get sick of doing this - the lifts travel through the entertainment precinct with bowling alley and aquarium - its always packed, even by japanese standards.

The room was showing its age - aside from the 80s decor there is stuff sagging and getting tired everywhere. It wasn't real clean - see pictures of mouldy shower, sink with pubes in it on our arrival (it was going to be too much trouble to complain about a couple of hairs as my japanese is not strong)

Will i stay there again? Probably not - the location is great but there has to be better hotels for the same price in tokyo.

I stayed in cleaner, larger rooms in nagano and sendai, and better appointed hotels with similar size in domestic Japanese business hotels for a quarter of the price. All in all a poor experience.

This is an excellent business hotel, clean, good size rooms by Tokyo standards, convenient location, fine amenities. Try to pick the Annex tower rather than the main and use the room service to avoid queues. Across the street from the train and metro stations, malls nearby, also convenient if family is there or for staying during the weekends as well.

Room Tip: High floor, mountain view, away from elevator..

Good location just outside Shinagawa station, rooms are rather small but clean. I found staff very friendly. Internet is expensive at 1000JPY for 24 hours. There is a nice lounge on the 39th floor with great views of Tokyo, good to sit and have a drink at night. Beware though it cost 4251 JPY for 3 pints of lager. I.E about £35...
Make sure you know which tower you are staying in. I saw many people queuing for 15-20 minutes only to be told they were at the wrong reception
