“Outstanding location”

Spent 4 nights at this excellent hotel. It was located near all amenities and the train station. This was helpful as it was a JR station. The rooms are nice although somewhat on the small size. We had a view over Tokyo tower. There were many restaurants close to this hotel.

Room Tip: Book a room on a higher floor and ensure you ask for a western style bed ,,they are more comfortable...

We probably had the bigger of the rooms for a Japanese hotel in the Annex Tower which is all non-smoking.

If you plan to visit Tokyo, do yourself a favor and take the tours offered downstairs by the tour line office ( company ) and take the full day deals including lunch. It will cost about $120.00 to $170.00 US per person for the day but you never wait for lunch, it taste fantastic and is geared to tourists. I highly recommend Mt Fuji and the Tokyo City Tours but there are so many other options.

When you get back to the Hotel at night buy your Breakfast at 7/11 downstairs outside the main door. I would get fruit bowls for about $1.50 and other goodies for a very low cost.

You can take the Express Train to Shinagawa Station but if you feel overwhelmed by all those trains at the station take Bus Limousine for almost the same costs but they take different times to arrive at Shinagawa and the Bus takes you right to the doors of the Hotel.

Breakfast at the Hotel is not the conventional North American style but still good. If you want a North American Style Breakfast venture near the Outback restaurant a block or two away. Better yet the small Cafe around the corner has great Asian pastries and great coffee. You can't miss it, its right in front of the Express McDonalds outside the Hotel toward the Train Station.

Room Tip: The room I was in had a good size refrigerator compared to many others I have heard of. It also had...

Had single room in the East Tower. The room is small with a single bed, a tiny desk (just fit the laptop), a really tiny bathroom. Had a hard time drying myself with the towel in the bathroom as my hands kept banging against the walls or something. Almost like you need to tuck in the elbows & fold the arms to turn around in there, lol.

The front desk staff & concierge speaks excellent English. However, not all the restaurant wait staff speaks English. The dining choices are plentiful, from restaurant to food-court. Language is not a problem to ordering as there are plenty of visual aids.

The hotel is next to the Shinagawa train station where you can board the railway (JR lines), the bullet train and the Metro. For moving about Tokyo city itself, my opinion is that the Metro is more convenient compared to the JR lines.

The hotel is served by the Airport shuttle - one of the 1st stop from the Airport.

Room Tip: If you need a bigger room, don't choose the East wing. However, the East wing has the cheapest r...

A great option for first time visitors. JR Shinagawa Station is right across the street which provides easy connection to any city station including connections to Shinkansen. Tokyo Station and Bay Area can easily be reached using train connections. Many options for eating near the hotel including TGIF restaurant and various Cafes, 7-11, etc which are open 24 hrs.

The wifi connection of the hotel is excellent - doesnt really matter if you are staying in the main tower or annexe tower. You might get lost in the shopping complex located in the hotel, but there is plenty to explore in the hotel itself like bowling alley and various entertainment options.

Convenient to travel from Narita / Haneda Airports with Limousine Buses or by Train. Don't think twice before booking this place!

Room Tip: Higher floors for nice city view at night.

I stayed here for 4 nights in a single room. The room was renovated and very clean. I liked the location. Close to shops and in front of the Shinagawa train station. I landed at Haneda Airport and there was a direct train connection. It was only 30 mintutes. It was easy to explore Tokyo from this location. There was also a very nice roof top bar / restaurant with a beautiful view over Tokyo. On the way back I departed from Narita and I booked the airport bus in the hotel.

The location was very convenient, just opposite Shinagawa station for the trains and bullet train. There was a 7-11 just outside the hotel with a wide selection of cafes and restaurants both in the restaurant and in the shopping centre opposite the hotel. It's not far away from Haneda Airport either. My two children loved the aquarium and the dolphin show as well as the attractions square. We went to the square at around 6pm and my two children managed to go on the pirate ship all by themselves. The hotel rooms themselves were very clean and the window let good amounts of sunlight in. The attitude of the staff was very good and attentive as well.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less noise from the train station

I stayed here for 2 nights on the 35th floor. The room was clean and the beds are type Asian (hard) comfort. A number of nice pillows is included. It’s. close to Shinagawa train station, make communications easy. There are lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood or just a few stations away. The breakfast buffet is large and has good selection of Western and Asian food. The coffee are drinkable. This is a typical medium/standard hotel and it’s location make it easy to reach all kinds of destinations within the city. The service is of acceptable Japanese standard, helpful and polite. The price per night was ok.
