I had a chance to return to the ANA after several years of not being in Tokyo and i was once more quite happy with my stay. The rooms are comfortable and decent size for Tokyo. The bed is excellent. The executive rooms are a bit larger and much nicer (especially the bathroom) but costs an extra 6000 yen. Breakfast is excellent but costs over 2500 yen. The lounge on the 36th floor is nice and has great views. The lobby is comfortable and has lots of restaurants and lounges. Location is convenient to various restaurants, supermarkets, cultural sites and other activities and there's a subway station near by. So this is definitely a good choice for a Tokyo stay.

Poor heating so it was freezing in room! Got a photo of condensation on my window it was so cold. When was the last time you saw this in a hotel room? Shows How poor the insulation is here. Rooms are quite small so It's really a business hotel

I came to Tokyo on business and we stayed here at the ANA Intercontinental. There are plenty of amazing restaurants within the hotel, plus it's either a quick taxi ride to other neighborhoods or a quick walk to the subway to get elsewhere in the city.

The first floor cafe was amazing. Out first night we had the buffet and tried all kinds if dishes.

The rooms are spacious, especially for Tokyo standards and the staff were always available to answer out questions.

My only caution would be to make sure to ask for a non-smoking room if that's important, as one of our party had a smoking room and it was choking.

It was my second time to stay at this hotel and the previous one was about 6 years ago. I remember my stay then and thought that if every I had meetings in the area in the future, then this hotel was very likely where I would be staying. It just so happened that the next meeting happened last February. I think the hotel is still very good in terms of service and the staff were very helpful in arranging for our transport to the airport. It is try near the metro stations so it is a convenient location especially for post seminar or post meeting activities to explore Tokyo or do some shopping. The only thing I can criticize the hotel about is perhaps their pillows. I did have a good sleep every night but it could have been better if they had firm pillows rather than the flat ones that seemed to have seen better days (or nights). It is time to change them for the benefit of clients. Still, overall, I think the hotel is very good and bordering on excellent.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the Tokyo Tower as they offer a more relaxing view. That is, unless you prefer...

First visit to Tokyo & this hotel, though I've stayed at many Intercontinental Hotels elsewhere. Great location, great room & great service. VERY helpful arranging transport and advising on local sights.

Room Tip: Ask for a high room with a good view.

After staying in other great hotels in Tokyo, wanted to try something new in the middle of Roppongi. Big mistake. For the exorbitant prices they charge, I could have had 2 nights at the Okura for every one night at the ANA, with better service and more personal touch. Thank god for Russell the guest relations manager, who at least would help with alleviating some of the lack of "service" provided by this place. Lesson learned, next month in Tokyo, back to the tried and true.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on Christmas Eve. The room was cozy, but the bed was gorgeous. The view of Tokyo Tower was also breathtaking.
Their breakfast buffet had a more-than-expected variety of food. They even cook pho on the spot for you!
And we bumped into Santa Claus on the elevator... he gave us a candy cane.
