During our trip in Japan this would definitely be the best. The concierge were very helpful and really tried to make your stay the best by helping you out with any questions. We were lucky enough to have access to the club lounge which meant daily breakfast which was very tasty and nice variety. Also there was afternoon tea which we only tried once but was very nice. The cocktail hour was 530-730 which included MUMM champagne, spirits, beer, sake etc as well as canapés such as sushi, cheese, crackers etc. the only thing that would be good would be to extent the cocktail hour each day. Our room was spectacular as we had a high floor facing towards tokyo tower. Rooms we spacious, clean, tidy etc. would definitely recommend this hotel! The service was top notch! Also since we stayed for New Years the concierge staff were able to recommend a countdown party. The club cocktail hour was great for pre drinks before heading out!

Great price for Tokyo and a very good location near Roppongi and Ginza. Bus from airport drops you off right on the property, so convenient and way cheaper than a taxi from airport. Staff are very helpful - breakfast buffet is good but not spectacular. Rooms are on the small side but very nice - had a room overlooking the Diet and towards the Palace. Not as good as the Hyatt down the road but a very good option for a good price in Tokyo.

I stayed at Intercontinental on my recent trip to Tokyo for the bulk of my stay, while not the cheapest of hotel options available certainly not the most expensive and certainly a notch above the average in terms of quality and staff competence.

Nearly all staff I encountered spoke good basic english and the concierge services were amazing.

A great selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy a drink. The Sky bar waiters will mix you a fantastic cocktail while you enjoy the superb view and ambience amongst the mix of local business men and travellers alike.

I wouldn't go as far as saying our time at ANA was amazing. It was a very typical large hotel.....interesting lobby with great water features. Rooms are small but well appointed. Definitely ask for a room facing Tokyo Tower as it is stunning at night. Breakfast buffet was just ok.....was expecting more after reading reviews. My husband and I definitely enjoyed a late night drink in the Whiskey Bar where there was live piano/bass providing a very tranquil atmosphere! One other thing to note.....our boys wanted to order room service dessert and were disappointed to learn that after 9:30 pm there is only one dessert option.

The location of the hotel is quite ok, though far from main tourist attractions, only near the imperial palace, near the the Ginza line station G06.
However there is room for improvement especially in the restaurants where the services could be a lot quicker. i.e.: breakfast, the waiters are serving tea and coffee on each table, could far more efficient to let the guests doing it themselves, would avoid waiting to be served. We also had to wait to be served other drinks, vegetables were served too late, after the meat was served, ...
So could be better. rooms are ok, but carpets on the floor would need a good clean up.
