“"What a fantastic view".”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

We stayed here mid July and early August as a pre and post cruise stopover. The Hotel is very luxurious, the staff are are friendly and polite as you would expect from a Japanese hotel. The rooms are huge and very clean with extremely well equiped bathrooms. We were lucky enough to have rooms overlooking Tokyo Bay, with a fantastic view of Tokyo city and the Tokyo skytree. Only downside was the really heavy smell of smoke in rooms and restaurant and bar prices. Situated away from city centre, but easy access to Tokyo train system to the east and river taxi station to the west of hotel. There are restaurants and small supermarkets in adjacent buildings and across the road.

Probably the largest room you can find in Tokyo. Since we stayed only night cant comment much on other aspects .Slightly away from the city center area, Provides shuttle to the nearest subway station , you could catch train to airport and other places from there.
Rooms are slightly dated but have spectacular view of the bay.

Room Tip: Request for a room with Bay view , view at night and day both are spectacular

Stayed here for a week. Hotel is in a great location, and the staff are super friendly.

We were upgraded to a ocean view superior room - view was incredible! And the room was spacious, clean, with a lovely bathroom.

The only downside to this hotel was the gym - there is virtually nothing in there at all! If you like to keep fit when travelling and are staying here I recommend buying a resistance band and learning some non-weight and non-machine exercises before you go!

Stayed twice over a two-week period, one for 2 days and another for 6 days.

As a former Six Continents member, happy to see that the InterCon continues to maintain its standard and consistency in rooms, maintenance, amenities, and customer service.

Regarding the hotel location, very convenient to Ginza and Shinjuku. Odaiba is only a stop or two away via the monorail practically located on the hotel grounds (you can bypass street access by taking the escalator to the 3rd floor and walking the perimeter). Also within walking distance (15 min) to Hamamatsucho Station for easy connections.

This hotel is not perfectly located for Central Tokyo - it's a walk and a ride on the loop line, however it has huge rooms with amazing views. The rooms were easily able to hold a family of four including two young children.

I'd recommend the shuttle bus to Hamamatsu-cho station as this will save you loads of time. Also look for a room high up to truly appreciate the amazing views this hotel offers.

Room Tip: Rooms on the higher floors obviously have better views!

The location is excellent as you have immediate Yurikamome line service, 5-10 min taxi ride to many areas like Ginza, and walking distance to
(Present, soon to relocate to Daiba!) fish market. Rooms are clean and spacious although I've only stayed at club level 22. Breakfast selection is very good, from classic Japanese style to German potatoes and bacon. Now, I like to do more than walk/jog during travel and really appreciate pool/fitness weight area and sauna. All are absent at IHG Tokyo Bay. If important, consider staying elsewhere such as Grand Pacific le Daiba. ありがとうございました, 仕令実.

I would describe this as a very efficient business hotel with an added bonus of great views of the Tokyo Bay. Though I have not tried with family, It should be equally good for families as we'll. Good location , about 10 mins walk to the subway staton. There is also a shuttle from the hotel to the station.Lots of good eating places within 5-10 mins of walking distance. In fact , the hotel is connected on the 3rd floor through a foyer to a small shopping place with a convenience store and good restaurants including an Indian and Italian one. Though the hotel is slightly old , it is in great condition and the space/ views make up for few gaps due to the age.
