This place is good for some of it's food option and the proximity to the water taxi pier for a nice river trip down Tokyo. Otherwise, don't invest your time in coming down here.

By all means, Caretta offers a lot of choice food wise, and for a different budget ranges. Not to mention that it is set in Shiodome, which is definitely a thing to do while in Tokyo. But, head up in a panoramic elevator, one of the fastest in the city, for an amazing view of the west side of Tokyo. Once you get to 46th floor, either choose a restaurant with the view (you won't make a wrong choice) or just sit in the window (there are some benches too :-) ) for the view over the Tokyo bay and wait up for the dusk to settle in and city lights start to come up.

One of my favorite things to do in Shiodome: had to Tully's cafe near NHK building, grab a coffee, sit with the blanket on the deck and enjoy the night view of surrounding skyscrapers and monorail passing high above...

We stayed in Shiodome, Caretta was really handy for a meal. We got lost every time we went in though, and the restaurants closed a lot earlier than we expected. Highly recommend Ichi Ni San for amazing pork dishes.

This is a place to shop for essentials, have a nice lunch or dinner and get some treats. There is a 7-11 inside if you need an ATM, a bookstore a small drugstore and much more that we didn't explore. If you want a tasty, light, tasty, affordable lunch here, try the pyramid shaped onigiri (rice balls) at Omusubi.

Was taken here for business dinner and ate sushi on 47th floor. Very pleasant experience. The whole complex is very modern and well groomed. Directions can be confusing but they have maps and signs.
