If it’s authentic Peruvian you’re looking for, look no further than Arai Shoten. They’ve been doing Peruvian food in the same spot in Tokyo for as long as I can remember. Take a map with you because it’s a bit of a walk from the station. If you’re up for a traditional mainstay, try the lomos saltado (strips of meat and onions in a cumin-spiced sauce). If you’re a little more adventurous, then go for the potatoes and plantain-like dish (tender and tasty) or try the corn (the kernels are HUGE!!).
