Abe was recommended to me by a friend living in Japan. The food was exquisite - refined, authentic, traditional Japanese cuisine. The highlight was the fish tempura which I have never eaten prepared in such a unique way. We had our own table in a little separate room, we had very nice service, and the decor is very authentic Japanese and simple.
Be aware that the restaurant is difficult to find even for Japanese taxi drivers - they only have a tiny sign by the door and not much English is spoken. This is not a problem as you can only eat the set menu of about 5 courses which at Y 9,825 is a good value for a 1* Michelin restaurant in Tokyo.
