“Have good View”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

Good place to have a drink and some snakes. We arrived at about five afternoon, the sunset time,on 42nd floor high near Ginza, the lights of the city are lighing on little by little..a great experience. Dishes not bad, they don't have many kind of sushis, we tried eel sushi, tastes good. decoration is modern japan style ,servise is convenient. Like this restaurant, will come back again if have time.

“Excellent Service to Yanks....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

Followed recommendations of other tripadvisor-ites. Easy restaurant to find on top floor of Shiodome City Center. Wait staff beyond friendly, and you can choose to sit at western tables or tatami mates; both rooms have magnificent views. Have English menu. It's sort of like a tapas place; each dish is about 800 yen, and you get a bunch of them for dinner. My girlfriend and I kept ordering until we were full, and before we knew it had spent 10K yen(!). Best thing was some fried fish thing with melted cheese in it, sort of a fish filled egg roll---must have. Suntory beer is delicious and cold. Potato chips and sauteed Ginko nuts was delicious, although spendy (750Yen). Dessert was salted carmel on ice cream and some type of milk flan thing. Good, but not great. Give it a try...

“Pleasant evening with a view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2012

Nice authentic Japanese restaurnt on 42nd floor. Good service, traditioanla food, zen garden, nice view, water stream/pond at entrance
At entrance take off your shoes (do not wash feet instream). There is enough room under table to put your feet if you are not use to sit in cross legs position
Worth seeing it

“Nice food with traditional Japanese ambience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

On the 42nd floor of a high rise in Shiodome, but once you are inside it feels fairly authentically Japanese: stones, woodwork, outdoor Zen rock garden, and even an attractive indoor pond.

Food was quite good, and service was prompt. It was a nice place to entertain non-Japanese guests.

“Western-Friendly, Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2012

Went to EN on the 42nd floor of one of the Shiodome complex last night, just a few hours off of the 14-hour flight from Washington. The restaurant is calm, nicely decorated, and with a good view of Tokyo's lights at night. There is one section with western tables and chairs and other areas where you sit on a mat, but there appear to be wells for your legs. So no issue for western muscles of adapting to Japanese seating. The food is a very tasty mixture of Japanese and fusion specialities. We had octopus salad, grilled scallops, some yellowtail sashimi, a sushi-like but slightly cooked maki roll, and some yakitori-style chicken, and a bottle of red burgundy. Mid-priced for Tokyo. All-in-all a very nice place.
