We had read about the coffee here at Tsuta and wasn't disappointed. After doing a fair bit of walking on a sticky day through Omotesando it was a found to be a pleasant retreat. It was located tucked away in behind ivy-covered walls in a street called Ivy Street and guess what Tsuta means? Ivy. Only pronounced like "star" with not much of the "r".
It is only a small place under a very architecty-looking residence and the ambience inside was cool and comfortable and with large window looking out to a pleasant private garden.
The coffee was just great and we also tried the iced tea and chicken curry while looking out and watching a little sparrow hopping about also on his lunch break and finding some black insects that looked a bit like crickets.
