On one of the days visiting Tokyo, my friends and I decided to go our separate ways and explore different parts of Tokyo specific to our own interests.
At the end of the day, I decided to stop by and get food for everyone to bring back to the apartment we were staying at in Edogawa. It had been a cold and rainy day, so walking into this location was really pleasant when I noticed how warm it was inside.
I placed my order to the best of my ability due to my language barrier and waited the 3 meals. It didn't take long to get them, but instead of carry out, they had prepared them for dine in. Again, this was on me because of my lack of knowledge in the Japanese language. The person he took my order was very positive and polite as he placed the meals in boxes and in a bag for me to take with me. Always with a smile on his face.
I have always told my friends how the taste of KFC in Japan has that 70's taste that KFC had back in the day. KFC in the U.S. doesn't taste like that anymore.
My friends were very pleased with the meals I got. So pleased that one of my friends got us the same meals a couple of days later.
