“Good place to stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013

Situated in a business district, this is a good place stay because of the value, location, convenience, and cleanliness. It is walking distance to the subway, buses to Tokyo Station, the limousine buses to Narita, restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores. If you want to do more walking, major department stores are within reach as well as the old district of Ningyocho. The hotel consists of a main building and an annex. If you don't speak Japanese, the main building is better because there is always an English speaking personnel at the main lobby. The hotel offers complimentary simple breakfast at both locations. Rooms and bathrooms are small, but comfortable and clean. Some rooms have a massage chair. If you like sleeping on hard beds, this place is for you. There is a small Laundromat on the 7th floor of the main building. Villa Fontaine is my usual place to stay whenever I am in Tokyo. I have only one complaint. During the last two stays, the toilets were not flushing well in the annex rooms I stayed. Although housekeeping tried its best to fix problem, I still had to flush several times. Looks like management needs to have the entire plumbing system snaked.

Room Tip: I stayed in this place many times and the room in the annex on the eleventh floor closest to the sta...

This hotel is next to a Kayabacho station where two subway lines meet. It is in a walking distance from Tsakiji Fish Market (about 20 min), and if you have time you can walk to the Tokyo center (Emperor Palace Gardens). It has very tasty breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms, great service and is not expensive at all.

This hotel is close to Tokyo city Air terminal which has access to NARITA International Airport.
I stayed here in the first week of October 2013 in a business trip to TOKYO. Accessing to any part of the city is quiet easy through METRO underground train. KAYABACHO subway metro station is located close to the hotel. This hotel is recently built one and now it has a Annex building near by.
The Quality and ambience is good. But, room service is not good and even there is not even a single English channel for foreign visitors. Free breakfast is simple & almost similar every day.
We can send our clothes for laundry every day as payable machines are available outside the
room at certain places. Common area outside the room is not maintained properly and there is
rain water leakage seen during rainy days through the common roof in the central part of the hotel. Price is a bit costly but location is noteworthy. Can stay for short trips.

Room Tip: "Ask for rooms in the main building"

Check in is at 3.00pm, if you arrived earlier you can leave your luggage for their safekeeping. The nearest Subway station is Kayabacho. Look for Exit 3 which will lead you out to the street in front of Starbucks and just a 5-8 mins walk to the hotel. Breakfast if provided free but basically is the same dish most of the day (salad, croissant, meatballs, scramble eggs, soup). The room is small but there are some space for luggage. Air-con remote control is in Japanese and works fine except that the air-con will automatically turned off and on again in intervals. Amenities like body and hair shampoo are replaced everyday, so no need to bring any with you. Front desk service is fantastic and very helpful.

I stayed there for 11 nites for business tripwith some office colleagues but each of us had separated rooms in November 2011 (sorry for belated review). The price is quite expensive as the room is quite small but the location is very good. Thank God I found a starbuck gallery near to the hotel and Subway station. The staffs speak english very well also they are friendly & helpful.

My husband and I were impressed with the service and accommodations at Hotel Villa Fontaine Kayabacho. The hotel is centrally located- a short walk to the subway and a few minutes by cab to the Central Tokyo Rail Station. It was very clean and reasonably comfortable, considering how expensive hotels can be in Japan. I miss the bidet which is pretty standard in Japan. We enjoyed the Japanese breakfast which came with the room. The staff were very polite, courteous and very helpful. I would recommed this hotel to everyone. My husband and I will certainly come back in the near future!!!

Room Tip: Check Expedia packages with air and hotel. This was a great value!!!
