“Good location”
Reviewed July 21, 2011

The good thing about this hotel is its location; you have a subway station opposite and the Hibiya line, Tsukiji station within 3 mins walk on the left side as you walk out of the hotel. Convenient stores and food shops all around. The staff at the front desk is awesome, very helpful and respectful. Some may speak little English, but they will do their best to help you with any queries. So a big accolade to the front desk staff.
Bedroom quite small and not much place to leave your luggage.
The intriguing part is the TV, management what are you thinking? Not a single English channel? All in Japanese? If the hotel is being advertised with Flighcenter through Quick Beds in Australia and in other English speaking countries, I guess it is very inappropriate to have only Japanese speaking channels. Carpet in the passage and in the room a bit old, bathroom small but clean.

The great advantage of this hotel is its location. There are two metro station next door to the hotel. In a walking distance you can find famous fish market Tsukidzi. May be due to that there many sushi bars around with delisious fresh sushi. Also in a walking distance is Ginza street with shopping centers and Kabuki theatre.
As for hotel itself - it is clean, quite comfortable, with friendly (as everywere in Japan) staff. The only disadvantage is the room's sizes - they are rather small for europeans.

This was my second stay at this hotel while in Tokyo and it was just as good as the first. I have written another review for my first stay on Tripadvisor. I will quickly go through the pros and cons of this hotel.

Pros:
1.) Extremely close to Tsukiji Fish Market making it a perfect stay for your first few nights in Tokyo because most foreigners are jet lagged and can wake up in the a.m to visit the market. This prevents you from having to take the subway or taxi from a different location.
2.) Clean
3.) Helpful staff
4.) Located very close to Tsukiji and shintomicho stations on the Tokyo Metro
5.) Short 10-15 min walk away from Ginza
6.) Value - at about 100 CDN a night, you can't get any better in the area

Cons:
1.) Hard to get to if you are taking Airport Limousine bus from Narita. You basically have to take the airport limousine bus to TCAT and then taxi it to the hotel.
2.) Small rooms - not a new thing for Tokyo but individuals who can not tolerate this should seek other accommodations in American based hotels
3.) Not much selection in dining in the immediate vicinity (although Ginza is only a 10-15 minute walk away, and 1-2 stops on the subway)

Recommended for people who want to be near Tsukiji Fish Market for a relatively decent price and who do not mind small rooms.

Not recommended for anyone who wants to be in the heart of the action in Tokyo and only staying at one hotel. There are better choices in Shinjuku or Shibuya where it is more alive and would be more convenient to stay at if choosing a home base.

Optimal location in the centre of Ginza chic neighborhood. Excellent ratio quality / price.
Clean and comfortable. A lot of kindeness from the personnel. Small rooms but in line with Tokio's rooms' sizes.
Recommended for stay up to 4/5 days.
Modern building.

Purposely booked into this hotel as it's ten minutes away from the Fish Market. Although majority of staff don't speak English - very helpful. Rooms were ok, small and it did smell smokey, but it was reasonably priced, well situated in Ginza for the different sights. Make sure you grab your soap on the way in, plus a neat foldable brush! It was relatively quiet too which was a surprise considering where it was - very easy to find too!

The many accessible conveniences made my 1-week stay with 2 small kids manageable. The many food options near the hotel made it easy to deal with meals at the after the end of a long day of sightseeing (and 2 grumpy kids). The front desk was always manned by 3 helpful staff, of which 1 could speak a foreign language other than English (Indonesian / Mandarin / Italian). This made getting help with directions/recommendations much easier. I especially liked being close to 2 subway stations, walking distance to Tsukiji Fish Market, having a 24-hour convenience store next door, a good choice of restuarants within walking distance and the coin operated Washer + Dryer for guest use. The only downside is not having wifi/internet in the rooms although coin operated internet access is available in the lobby.

No frills hotel located super close to the Tsujiki Fisih Market. The front desk people were very polite and efficient and spoke great English. The price is right at this hotel, definitely the cheapest night of my stay. The room was pretty tiny, the bed and pillows were pretty hard (which is common in hotels apparently?) and the bathroom was pretty tiny even for business hotel standards... but ideally people don't really spend much time in the bathroom so that is ok.

It is not near a JR stop unfortunately so we had to maneuver using the metro which is not that bad but yeah. Good stuff. I don't recommend for a romantic leisure stay. We holed up there for our first night in Tokyo and headed out to the Fish Market and it did the job.
