The hotel is location wise quite good, as it is situated near Nihonbashi, historic Tokyo. But the hotel itself is under the bridge, with not a single coffee shop nearby. Also hard to find - I got lost the first time around.
The room are normal Japanese hotel rooms, smallish but very tidy and all essentials are there, including the bathrobe. If you want a room with a window that opens, don't go to the 8th floor. They were renovating some rooms.
The real minus is the breakfast. Normally in Japanese hotels the breakfast is wonderful, with traditional Japanese food around. This one is youth hostel level, or even below, with corn soup (?) instead of miso soup, so tsukemono that you normally have at Japanese breakfast, no rice, plastic coffee cups.

We booked this hotel for 3 persons (2 adults & 1 child 11y/o). We were surprised that they gave us 2 rooms (1 with full size bed & the other single size). We ended up using 1 room for our suitcases, and sleep at the other room (my husband slept on the floor using bedcover). He said, sleeping on the floor was the same as sleeping on the bed since the bed was as hard as the floor.
The hotel itself was clean and nice. They provided good selections for breakfast.
It was located in quiet street, and was about 15 minutes walk to the nearest subway station. There's 7/11 by the hotel.
Service was kind. They let us leave our suitcases in the morning before check in time and our bags were already delivered to our room when we checked in at night.

We stayed here for 9 nights and found the hotel very comfortable and convenient. It is within walking distance (around 20 minutes) to Tokyo station or 10 minutes to the nearest subway station which is Mitsukoshimae. It provides free breakfast which includes sausages or meatballs, scrambled eggs, green salad, bread, milk, coffee and orange juice. The staff are very helpful and polite. There is a morning free shuttle bus which takes you to the Tokyo station. There are lots of restaurants nearby. We will definitely return.

Stayed here beginning of October for 5 nights.
Nice and clean hotel but the room is tiny and I mean tiny.
It has everything you need and reception staff are very good, you also get a free basic breakfast.
It is in a really good position to get around Tokyo. Close to airport shuttle and tube.

Stayed here at Hotel Villa Fontaine on our recent trip to Japan. Our friend had stayed here previously and booked hotel for us.The rooms are very small but well appointed ,with a great shower. The bed was very hard but maybe that's a Japanese thing.Breakfast was simple but we enjoyed it .. gets a bit crowded at times.Theres a convenience store on the corner near the hotel and a Gloria Jeans about 5 mins walk away.Lots of restaurants within walking distance . Train stations close by.Free wi fi also a bonus.
