the hotel was just down the blokcs from the office where I was to lead a workshop (primary purpose of my trip) and in one of the best neighborhoods in tokyo. the breakfast spread is good and the room cosy. loved the toiletries and the multiple faciltiies in the room - be it the massage chair, the iron board, the coffee kettle and more; they also have free coffee and water in their lounge all through the day besides free internet access as part of the deal. truly helpful considering how expensive tokyo is.

My company's Tokyo office has recently moved for the 6th time and so I had to find somewhere close by in the Ginza area. This hotel was near-perfect. It is one block away from Chuo-dori, the main street in Ginza (closed to traffic on Sunday afternoons - great for shopping and people-watching). The Ginza metro station is 5 minutes walk away. If you are coming from Narita Airport, take the limousine bus (Yen 3000) to the Courtyard by Marriott Tokyo Ginza Hotel and walk up the street (between Showa-dori and Chuo-dori) 400 metres. The hotel reception is on the 3rd floor.

The room was very small but this is the norm in Tokyo. I stayed for a week, which a "business hotel" like this is not really designed for, but I managed to stow my clothes (you may need to ask for more hangers). There is free wi-fi in the rooms now, as well as in the reception and restaurant.. The password is different for each location - ask at reception.

The breakfast is excellent - a lot of choice (more than a lot of hotels I know in Tokyo). The staff were friendly and helpful. Some speak quite good English.

Smells bad, small rooms, old carpets... Apart from location nothing good about this hotel. (if you are into shopping this is the area to visit).

The hotel is very near the Ginza station, which is very convenient for those checking in.

However, there are some things that I think needs improvement.

1) There is no wifi connection in the rooms. You have to go down to the lobby to access wifi. You can connect using your laptop (LAN connection) but if you need instant access using your iPhone you have to go down which is such a hassle.
2) There are no English tv channels. It would be better if there is an English channel.

Lovely hotel. Small room but good for price and so clever in its design. Friendly staff. Good shops around. We will tell all our friends what a lovely hotel this is and we will stay here again.

This hotel is located in center of Giza, which is very close to metro station; however it is quite far from JR station, walked around 8 minutes. It is recommended for people who like shopping. So many shops and restaurants. Hotel is clean, and modern decoration. Bathroom is not small. However, no closet. Free wi-fi can use only at Lobby.

Room Tip: Choose the room at the corner of the building will get bigger room.

Stayed there for 8 nights. OK hotel, but nothing more. A bit worn out rooms. Very bad english in reception, some staff dont speak english at all. Only free wifi in reception area on 3 floor. In your room there a no wifi at all. Only by wire. Thats no good for a 4 star hotel in 2012. And by the way.. VERY small rooms. But I guess thats the way it is in tokyo. Ginza is a perfect place to stay - close to metro and trains.
