Nice and clean, that counts for the capsule itself as the shared facilities. Housekeeping doing their work everyday with great pro-active attitude. Conveniently located, not far from Tokyo Station, metrostop and JR around the block. Free wifi and friendly staff too!

You dont have to look elsewhere. This is one of the cheapest, cleanest, safest accommodation you will get in Tokyo. I wouldnt say it is perfect. The rooms are extremely small. If you are 100KG and above you might find moving around difficult. Sorry no size discrimination.

There is a direct train to shinjuku. Location is ultra convenient. I paid 5000 yen per night from booking.com . Check it out. Thanks

The rooms here are small, we had a standard double room, but probably not small by Tokyo standards. We found there was enough room for our backpacks. The room was clean, and with modern furnishings. The bathroom was one of those strange bathrooms that seem to be self-contained. The shower was OK - plenty of hot water. But we found that when we ran the shower or emptied the bath that the floor would start to flood. If we used turned down the shower (less water coming through) or emptied the bath slowly then it was less of a problem and the water receeded quickly. The hotel is handy to Bakurocho and Higashi-Nihombashi stations, which gives you easy access to a few subway lines. If you ask the front desk staff, they'll give you a map of the area with the hotel marked and they'll show you where to find lots of restaurants. We thought the hotel was great value, well located, although the bathrooms could be improved.

First of all, i dont expect too much on this hotel, after around 4-7mins walk from Asakusabashi station, we found the hotel, its near barukocho station.
the room itself so small, with very luxurious facility.
bathroom very clean, with bathrobe, towel and bathing equipment,
if i back to tokyo, i would stay in this hotel again

Stayed 4 nights from August 08 to August 12, 2012

LOCATION - some people complained, but I loved the location. It can reached directly from the aiport (Terminal 1 and 2) on a JR train that runs every hour (total cost per adult is 1280yen). Get off at station Bakurocho and take exit C4. As soon as you walk up the stairs, the hotel is right in front of you. It is very close to two JR stations (Bakurocho and Asakusabashi), which will get you to anywhere in Tokyo. It is in a quiet, but NOT shady part of Tokyo. There are just a offices and small businesses which closes early. If you want to eat something at night, just walk around the corner towards Asakusabashi station and there are lots of bars and diners (where you purchase the food item from a machine, obtain and ticket, and give it to the cook) which are open until very late (the diners actually runs 24hrs/day).

HOTEL ROOM - we booked 4 rooms for 9 people (one of whom is a 4 year old). Two of the rooms had a true double bed (which was a tight fit for 2 adults and a 4 year old) and the other rooms had smaller double beds (bigger than an twin, but not by much). There was enough room to move around and store luggage (one large suitcase, one carry-on suitcase, and two big backpacks). It also comes with a mini fridge (please remember to turn it on after you plug it in), there was a table and chair. The bed was OK and we slept well (mostly due to exhaustion). Caution - if you are taller than 5'8", your feet will dangle off the bed.

The bathroom is the only thing that is holding me back from giving it 5 stars. The toilet in my daughter's room had a bad smell and feces backed up from no where. My daughter and mother swore they did not use it, but somehow there was human waste which would not go away no matter how many times they flushed. There was a smell in our bathroom that simply wouldn't go away.

AMENITIES - there is a vending machine by the elevator and a restaurant downstairs. The food is actually very good and price decent (in comparison to other restaurants in Tokyo).

SERVICE - staff was also polite and business-like. They did not gush with happiness when they greet you, but were respectful and professional. Housekeeping was efficient and towels, bathrobes, and toiletries were replaced each day.

I would definitely consider staying here the next time I am in Japan.

We stayed three nights at The Nihonbashi Villa Hotel and we were satisfied. Good and friendly service even though their english was poor, very clean rooms, very comfortable bed, good internet connection (cable, no wifi) and free wifi in the reception area (not very stable connection).

Of course, the bed and bathroom were small but that's how the hotel rooms are in Japan. ;-)

The hotel is only 5 min. away by walk from the subway station „Asakusabashi“. There are only a few restaurants and cafés in this business district. The popular areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku etc can be reached easily due to a well developed subway network. The location is quiet and very safe.

We highly recommend this hotel.
