“Woo! Choco-licious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2014

Delicious chocolate-flavored treats await you at this delightful shop. We visited the shop twice and tried different snacks and drinks each visit. Everything was good. I recommend the chocolate coronet, the chocolate milk (chocolate drink ice) and the little chocolate cakes. The menu is available in English in the shop but not online. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The store also sells little chocolate squares blended from chocolates from around the world. They have one of the nicer white chocolates I have tried.

The prices are high but so is the quality and taste.

“Chocoholic's Delight.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2012

I had read a trip report several months ago about this place and as a confirmed chocoholic was determined to see it for myself. There are 2 locations for this cafe, and we chose to visit the one on Kyobashi street on the ground floor of the Meiji Headquarters building. It is just a short distance from the Kyobashi exit on the Ginza line or a 5 min. walk from Tokyo Stn.

This is a small dessert cafe with only a few bar height tables, but well worth the stop. In addition to desserts and frozen offerings, there are several chocolate beverages on offer. We opted for the chiffon cake with fresh buttercream chocolate frosting- Delicious!! to go with a much needed cup of rich and strong coffee.

But the main reason to visit here is the chocolate squares- they have 56 different varieties of chocolate that include single bean varieties from all over the world, as well as unusual blends like rose hip, black pepper, or lemon salt. Quite pricey, but they are a great souvenir or gift for a chocolate lover friend.

“Chocolate heaven.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012 via mobile

A great themed cafe, we visited the new Solamachi cafe, based in the Tokyo Skytree. We loved the hot chocolate and the chocolate expresso. Chocolate cornet (brioche) seemed rather manufactured but was still enjoyable. The range of chocolates was superb (but pricey, although what isn't in Japan?) and the design, decor & service all excellent. Well worth a trip (as is the Skytree and associated mall).
