very busy but awesome. Walk around and go to one of the small bars in the area like the 300 bar. Japanese people are very friendly!

“Feeling right at home!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

This city was very much like visiting 5th avenue in NYC. The streets crowded, in a good way. Beautiful designer stores, lovely window displays lots of neon lights and fun tall buildings. Definitely a necessary visit

“Nice upmarket area. Great for shopping.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

We stayed in Ginza one night. Seems like a very nice area, clean and upmarket. The main shopping street has everything your heart desires. Department stores have great food halls in the basement - TRY THEM!

Restaurants galore throughout Ginza. Nice place to walk day and night. People are very friendly and respectful.

“Nice place to walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

Just walking around is pleasant. If time does not allow you to go more than once, you must absolutely go at night. It is so nice to be in a downtown area that is so clean and safe in spite of the crowd. The neon lights and building architecture is great. Most restaurants had very reasonable prices, most of the time it was lower than what we pay in Canada for similar meals.
On Saturday and Sunday afternoons the main street turned into a huge pedestrian street (don't know if they do that every weekend) but it was just fun walking about.

“Only if u want high end shopping...nothing abt Japan”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2013 via mobile

Definetly a place to stroll and feels the glitters of Tokyo but akin to any high end shopping street of any developed country. If u wanna explore japan then this place is not in to be in. Found one duty free electronics shop (name ??) which was reasonably priced.
