Pretty touristic and high shopping area. Good restaurants although. Don't go too late because closing pretty early. If you want to see the most famous lighting of Tokyo go to see Shibuya.

We were blown away when we arrived at one of the major department stores a few minutes before it opened. When they unlocked and opened the doors, no one rushed in. A female employee read something in Japanese and we waited for the Seiko clock to ding ten times. Then the lady bowed and we slowly entered the store. As we passed other staff members on the way to the food floor, everyone bowed as we passed. We weren't in Kansas.

Indeed the best area of Tokyo, the most prestigious and famous. All the brands are there, fashion, electronics, shoes, bags. etc. Three big department stores, Mitsukoshi, Matsuya and Matsuzakaya, Lots, really lots of restaurants around, mainly in the side streets, and not as expensive as you would imagine. A must see in Tokyo.

The two to visit are Takashimaya Nihonbashi and Prnitemps for price and excellent service. Bic Camera for all electronic.
Don't fall sick there are no pharmacies or doctors and the main hospital closes at 8pm

Modern and great details to streetscape. Ginza is still the '5th Ave' of Tokyo. Awesome is the 12 storeys UNICLO headquarters. Modern architecture and ID are plenty to tease and please your eyes.
