“Excellent hotel and location”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

I have stayed at the Royal Park many times over the years.

It's an elegant hotel located right across the street from the TCAT station, making it easy to get to from the Narita airport. There's even a covered walkway on the 2nd floor if you arrive in bad weather. There are lots of fantastic (but really expensive) restaurants in the hotel. A good (but small) gym and spa. There's also a metro stop in the basement- I LOVE that.

Right across the street is a 7-11 and in the TCAT building is a McDonalds so if you have kids or just want a quick cheap "something" you can get it quickly and easily. There are also numerous little restaurants in the area for a food at all price levels. For alittle fun right across the hotel down an alley is one called Texas-that plays old OLD western songs but doesn't seem to serve any Texan food. You can even walk to the button museum or a 100Y store which always is good for fun souvenirs.

Room Tip: I always stay in the concierge floor (16 &17 floors) and get breakfast and access to their loung...

This hotel is great because
- conveniently located right near from Tokyo City Air Terminal. Very easy to go to the airport by bus
- fantastic swimming pool, opens from 06:30, clean and big (I think 20m length which is great for a hotel in Tokyo)
- nice room amenity. They gave me a little skin-care set, including Shiseido make up remover, face wash lotion etc. I loved this
- beautiful Tokyo panorama view from the top floor breakfast place

The hotel is probably not that new, and has a little bit of 'dated' style.
But everything worked decently

Just come back from a 3 day stay in Tokyo with the family. Prior to going, I spent days looking for the most suitable location, quality of hotel and size of rooms (3 kids + 2 adults). The Royal Park fitted the bill very well. Firstly the rooms are of a good size - I would describe them as "normal hotel room size" which apparently for Tokyo is big. They were very well equipped and meticulously clean. Secondly, the location is great - right above TCAT and train line so going out for the day was pretty easy and getting back to Narita even easier!- although the distances to get to some attractions were quite a jaunt. We were on the executive floors which was a good option as breakfast could be taken on the 20th floor (lovely quality food!) for great views. Also drinks and snacks included. In terms of pricing I checked all the main hotel websites (agoda, hotel.com, expedia etc) but found the best deal by far to be on the actual hotel website!. Great choice and very pleased with it!

Room Tip: Executive rooms are on floors 14 upwards.

Royal Park is an amazing hotel. It's like a little slice of heaven in a hectic city. I stay there every time I come to Tokyo. All of restaurants are superb, and the staff is outstanding. I even like the quirky metal skelleton keys for the rooms. The room and bedding is sumptous, and very spacious. Highly recommend the executive floors if you can swing it.

Room Tip: Stay on the exec floor if you can, the loune is excellent.

Great location, close to transport, but then again, what isn't in Japan. Really good staff, very quiet and comfortable hotel and executive floors and facilities were great. Excellent venue for business. Breakfast was very enjoyable too.

Have stayed many times at the Royal Park Hotel, and every time I am met with a smiling face in the reception. The hospitality is great and beds are very nice. Some rooms are though a bit "tired" however still good value for money. Especially I love the breakfast at the 20th floor, where you can sit and enjoy a nice breakfast with a perfect view of the city
