After a long flight to Tokyo, I was so happy to get to the Fresa Inn. This hotel is at a walking distance from Tokyo station. It's really well-located and the staff is one of the best I have seen.
Rooms are tiny (like everywhere in Japan) but very very clean.
If I ever go back to Tokyo I will definitely stay there again.

If you're in Tokyo and want to base yourself near Tokyo Station (easy to take shinkansen, etc) then this hotel is awesome! Close to 3 train stations, one just 1 minute away from the hotel, another a few minutes walk, and Tokyo Station is probably about 10 minutes walk. Plenty of local restaurants around the area (but most are closed on Sundays, as we found out).

The room is tiny (we picked the semi-double for 2, yup, more like a single haha) so do get a double room or larger if you prefer comfort. Price is very good for the location, we paid about AU$90 for the room per night, for 3 nights stay from Hotels.com when they were on sale.

Bed is comfortable, not much space around but still okay, bathroom is tiny but still good with all the amenities you need plus heated toilet seats. Oh, and free bottle of water if you go for eco-cleaning, which is nice.

You need to take the lift one floor up to find the lobby. Service was great, they also helped us send our luggages to Osaka. There's free coffee and tea at certain time during the day at the lobby too.

Ladies get a pack with hair clip/tie, moisturiser and face wash (branded too, Shiseido!) so that's another plus if that's what you like.

Room Tip: Get a double room (not semi-double) for 2 people sharing a room!

Perfect spot in Tokyo. 5 min walk to Ginza and 10 min walk to Tokyo station, access to the Shinkansen lines and the Narita express. It is everything I needed in a hotel in Tokyo for a good advance price on expedia.

It was very clean, fresh and modern and at times there was really no need to unpack as there was abundant supplies of pyjamas, slippers, toothbrush, hairbrush, huge pump bottle shower gels.

Albeit the room was a little small it was all I needed travelling single in Tokyo. Bed was most comfortable and the staff were all too eager and polite to help with any requests.

Breakfast for 800¥ I had once, it was a strange combination of potato and pasta salads, whilst having traditional cereals, mini sausages etc.

Very quiet and safe area of Tokyo which is just what I needed having busy walking days around the busier parts of the city. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a great base in Tokyo.

Great location: The hotel is situated right next to Takara Station of the Asakusa Line, where there are direct trains to and from both Narita International Airport and Haneda Airport, and within walking distance of Tokyo Station, where neighboring areas are readily accessible.

Great convenience: A convenience store is just around the corner and nearby there is a grocery store.

Great rates: The hotel provides affordable and clean rooms, with free amenities, various kinds of bath salts in particular, that are surely to impress.

Great people: The staff members are friendly and hospitable. With a fair command of English, they are eager to help and satisfy guests.

Great service: Late check-in (after 3:00 pm) can be arranged by phone or e-mail. The hotel can keep luggage and mail until check-in.

The hotel is highly recommended to those who travel with a limited budget and who simply want to stay overnight in ease and comfort.

Room Tip: The lobby is on the second floor. After check-in, be sure to use your card key to operate the elevat...

We only stayed here one night when we arrived in Tokyo because it was close to the JR Tokyo Station. It was rather difficult to find but some lovely Japanese people helped us find it.

The room was super small but tidy, but perfect for one night. There was Wi-Fi in the room which was a bonus.

If you are in Tokyo for one night it is great, however if you are staying for a longer period if you can tolerate a small room, it is fine.

The hotel is a very very basic hotel !!
The advantages are that it is really footsteps away from the subway & that the room is clean.
the disadvantages are that the rooms are very very small. not even a shelf or drawer to put thing in, and the breakfast (that is included in the price) is so so so basic and poor. it's better you go the near Starbucks for your coffee and snack...

Stayed 2 nights in 2 triple rooms with 4 teenagers. All big comfy beds with clean sheets. In-room wifi definitely a big plus, instead of at lobby only. Staff friendly and helpful. Direct train from Haneda internation/domestic airport by Keikyu (Express) connect direct to Asakusa Line (no need to change train) for 550/590yen, take elevator at exit A7 to street level, turn left at familymart, total 1 min walk from station to hotel, so convenient. Kyobashi and tokyo station within walking distance. There is the seven storeys Yaesu Book Center in front of Tokyo station for my teenage booklover boy, and 10min walk to ginza for my teenage fashionlover girls, and surrounded by yummy restaurants for the whole family. Very good mapo tofu and dan-dan ramen at CHIN-MA-YA restaurant, just behind hotel. Great stay!
