“Perfect for budget travelers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel. Everyone says how small the room is and it certainly is small but was perfect for us since all we wanted was a nice place to sleep and a good location. This hotel provided both. Easy access to Ningyocho station and 20 min walk to the Imperial Palace and gardens. The train from Narita airport is 1.5 hours or 1 hour depending on which train you take from Narita. The bed was very comfortable and the window shades will block out all the sunlight your vampirian heart desires. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming every time we walked by. If you are looking for an inexpensive but comfortable hotel without all the amenities and don't care for much space, this hotel is an excellent choice.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night.
This hotel opened in 2012, it is clean and new.
(in particular bath room)
In addition this hotel is near Ningyocho station, Ningyocho is easy access to Ginza and Akihabara.

Using free wifi at each room is very useful!

The hotel location in Nihonbashi area is great, calm environments in a residential area. A few blocks away there are restaurants and shops, especially around fhe metro station Ningyocho. A few minutes walk to ghe Tokyo metro station Ningyocho. The rooms are small, 11 sqm! The beds are very the AC is a bit noisy and has its own life. Cleaning of the room is very good! Very friendly and helpfull staff. A restaurant is in fhe same building and offers breakfast for 1000 Yen, a mix of japanese and western style. If you're looking for spatious rooms and sitting area in the room, look for another hotel. I liked the hotel and the location is good to explore Tokyo.

I liked it. The rooms are small, but the customer service was excellent! They have everything including a microwave. I could hear phone conversation from the next door though..I would stay there again.

The hotel is nicely located, just 3-4 minutes by walk from the metro station. It's modernly designed, very clean and nice. However, the rooms are tiny, it's difficult to open a suitcase even. The staff hardly speaks any English and it's almost impossible to communicate with them if you don't speak Japanese. There's is also this annoying air refresher in the entrance hall which is very strong and difficult to stand. The rooms are cleaned everyday, bathroom tiny but neat, it's also very quiet in there. Generally, to recommend.

A nice hotel in a good neighbourhood somewhere in tokyo. Nothing too special, but clean rooms, good service and - as usual in Tokio - very small rooms. Not a room you want to stay for a long time because of this reason, but if you're looking for a good place to sleep it's perfect.

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013

We stayed here for 4 nights in April and did enjoy our stay. Our semi double room was very clean (spotless in fact) and had everything we needed including a small fridge and a full complement of toiletries.

The room was a bit smaller than we had hoped for, in Japan the rooms are generally small but this was one of the smallest we had encountered. The two of us moving around the room was like a game of sliding tiles - one had to move one way so that the other could get through. The bathroom was rather small too but was again very clean and had what you needed to use in a bathroom. We stored our 2 larges cases against the wall but they were a bit in the way, the only place we could open them was to lay them on the bed. If you can put up with the small room size - everything else about this hotel was very good.

You had to use your room key to gain access to the lift which made things feel even safer.

The reception staff were helpful and spoke enough English to help us when needed. If not, I just put the words into google translate and showed them the outcome - that seemed to work too as we always got what we asked for!

There is a communal microwave available for use which was really handy if we bought a ready meal from one of the convenience stores - a Sun Rus, Seven Eleven and Family Mart are all very close by - within a 5/6 minute walk.

The hotel is very close to the Tokyo Metro line (Ningyocho station). When exiting the station use exit number 4 - bear in mind there are a few stairs to the outside. When you reach the outside, look left and you will see at the top of the buildings the words APA Hotel, this is the one to head for. It's only about a 2 minute easy walk from the station exit. The area is very quiet and felt very safe - as did everywhere else we went to in Japan.

The in room internet was also fast and reliable.

All in all we did enjoy our stay, the location was good for accessing the metro to see the tourist attractions and the bed was really really comfortable so we got some excellent sleep. The aircon seemed to have a mind of its own at times and would heat up when we wanted to cool down - easily sorted to just opened the window!
