I stay at the Royal Park a lot. It's so easy to jump onto the Airport Limo to the TCAT building then go to the hotel. Plus there are several stores to look at and places to eat. There's even a McDonalds which is useful if you're travelling with kids that want a quick familiar bite. The ticket people are always pleasant and so far I have always been able to communicate in English.

I recently flew from Tokyo Narita to Amsterdam and found that you can no longer take baggage trolleys to the check-in counter.Whoever made such a decision obviously does not travel very much!!I had three bags and had to make two trips back to the place where I had taken them off the trolley.
What happens if you have small children and three or more bags??Or if you are elderly and cannot drag heavy bags the distance to the check-in counter?

Whoever made such a crass decision reahgrading thr trolleys clearly has no clue and no thought for others!

May be a little bit austere, but very efficient...

TCAT is the first stop on the "Limousine" bus from Narita next to the Royal Park Hotel. The sushi restaurant is pretty good there as is the noodle shop next to it, and both are very affordable. I'd recommend grabbing lunch at TCAT if you are staying at the Royal Park (or passing through), you get a real Japanese experience, the staff is used to dealing with English speakers and you'll save about 2000 yen.
