“Premium Location, Excellent Hotel, Great Price could not ask for more when staying in Tokyo”

My husband & I just got back from Japan & we spent our last night in Tokyo at Ryumeikan on the 15th floor. What a fantastic hotel it has everything that a 4 star hotel would have. Yes the rooms are small but everything in Japan is small :) Location is fantastic right across the road from Tokyo station & there is a subway station around the corner. Everything you need at your door step. Our room has a Nespresso machine not even the big hotels have that as a big coffee drinker that just blow my mind they think of everything & we loved that about the hotel. Toiletries you don't need to worry this hotel has thought of everything. Staff were great. Like everything in Japan hotel & rooms were spotless. We will definatley be staying here on our next visit to Japan. Also do not worry about noise being so close to Tokyo Station because you can hear a thing Tokyo is pretty quiet at night.

what a lovely hotel, right opposite Tokyo train station, arrived very early room not ready but we were able to leave our bags and go off to explore when we returned our luggage had been taken to our room, the room was great, large comfy bed good quality furniture, lovely bathroom, large soft towels, kimono on the bed and lovely free soft slippers, the room and bathroom where spotless and there where many good quality toiletries. the sheets and towels where changed every day if required but if you didn't want them changing or your room cleaned you could put a sign on the door and the hotel will give money to charity what a great idea I do feel it isn't necessary to have clean sheets and bedding every day so we opted for this option several times

After four weeks and eight different hotel stays in Japan, we couldn't have been more surprised or happier with the quality of the hotel. Ample amenities, comfy pillows and bedding, terrific location and quiet rooms, our only complaint is that we could stay only one night. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. We already started recommending it to others. One caveat: breakfast at the hotel is a Japanese buffet, so if you prefer western breakfasts, you'll have to go elsewhere. However, there are plenty of eating establishments nearby to make this irrelevant (at least for us).

Stayed in a superior, spacious room on the 13th floor for 1 night only (the last one of our Japanese holiday). Close to Tokyo station but we needed a cab anyway, since we were travelling with heavy luggage. Loved the nespresso machine. Bathroom was rather modest but, as always in Japan, immaculately clean. Extremely friendly staff at reception. Lovely bathrobes (kimono style), lounge chair, finally a hotel with an English language channel!, easy for return to Narita airport the next morning. We stayed at Mercure Ginza hotel for 6 nights at the beginning of our holiday and found Ryumeikan a bit expensive compared to the Mercure Hotel.

Room Tip: Higher floors give a spacier feeling because of the "view".

The room was nice and clean but small. Enjoyed check in on the 15th floor. Staff was excellent and location was great as we were leaving Japan the next day. Will stay here again on our next visit. We checked out in the morning but were able to check bags as flight was n the evening. The location made it easy to visit a number of tourist spots before we left.

The hotel was conveniently located right outside Tokyo Station and was easy to find. The double room did not have much going for it, but I guess you can't expect much either... The room was clean. Unfortunately the room did look out at the wall of the building next door so there was no light and claustrophobic.

The staff at check in and check out was very friendly and the price point (~$130) makes up for the negatives.

Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and quiet if a bit small by western standards. Hotel is located nearly across the street from Tokyo Station and Daimaru Dept. Store. The Imperial Palace is within walking distance as is the Mitsukoshi Dept. Store. The Tsukigi Fish Market is a short taxi ride away...between $10 to $15 US.
