So bad!!

1.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Nov 12, 2017via mobile
Actually,location is so good.
Because it is near the Tokyo station.
However,
This is really really bad.
So diety and stinking.
Look my pictures.
They didn`t clean up in the room.
I couldn't sleep there.

This place is kind of disgusting and I loved it.

Each floor is basically a big room with a load of bunk beds covered in cheap beige plastic with curtains on. The inside of your 'capsule' is decked out with all of the mod cons you could need in the 80s and may or may not be held together with bits of duct tape.

For breakfast you can enjoy an ice cold coffee or Pocari Sweat from one of about a thousand vending machines that are out the front door.

It's cheap and 15 minutes from the fish market, so it met both of my requirements.

I had a good night's sleep, was able to leave my large suitcase at reception and have them call me a taxi for the next morning, and used the WiFi which is available in the communal spaces. Much more facilities than I expected for a capsule hotel, would have been better if the whole place didn't have an odd smell to it, if it had been better signposted as I spent 30 minutes looking for it, and if the staff could have spoken slightly more English.

The location was good. However the condition of the capsule hotel was just...bad. The toilet was shared and it was kind of gross. The place felt very outdated. There was a smell like a dusty stale kind of smell.

We thought we should try this just for the experience. Luckily for us the place was empty so we did not have to worry about being noisy. Fun just to try once. The place is clean enough, a bit like a backpacker stop over. You get a locker, capsule bed, tv, power outlets, towels, slippers and a gown.

Worst place I stayed in Japan and in the world.

This place is horrible. It is crammed full of junk and clutter. It is old, very out dated and the worst bit - filthy dirty.

Just because it is cheap and central is not a reason the overlook the grime and clutter.

I found it hard to find. I was walking round the area for ages. It looks like a shop from the outside.

The main bathroom is off the main reception so you can see people bathing through the curtains!!! Men and women have alternative hour slots to use the shared bathroom !?!? Which basically means you wait. Not worth waiting for it was so revolting. I paid to shower at the airport - I couldn't face it.

The lockers can't hold suitcases so you have to leave you case in reception. Which is not helpful when your bed is on the 5th floor.

The actual capsules are actual bunk beds with curtains. With old TV's and electronics. With uncomfortable pillows. The bathroom off the dorm was three toilet pans in the floor and a filthy disgusting sink with only a cold tap. No hot water.

Don't expect a warm welcome either- which was my only bad experience in the whole of Japan. You can only check in after 6pm.

I would never recommend this place. It's truly awful.
