“Extremely convenient location and excellent value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013

Very nice rooms with good views (hotel starts from the 27th floor of the building). Room was small (ca 20sq m) but in Tokyo this is common. The price was very reasonable and signifcantly lower than other hotels in the area. The location is very convenient, as the building is right at the entrance of Tokyo station and there is also a taxi rank outside. Finally, hotel staff was very helpful and polite and everyone spoke good English.

After finding the appropriate exit from Tokyo Station, the hotel could not have been easier to find. The English-speaking reception personnel made our check-in quick and easy. They sent a young man to escort us to our room and help carry bags. He showed us the amenities. We were so exhausted and appreciated the comfortable beds and large windows with view from the 34th floor. Beware of the breakfast buffet. It was quite expensive at about 2,700 yen per person. We could have grabbed breakfast somewhere local. In fact, the night before we grabbed take out noodles only a couple blocks away. The room did smell of smoke, which I hadn't smelled in quite a while, but I must admit that Japanese cigarettes don't smell as noxious as American cigarettes. Nice electronic control of window sheer shades and dark shades by the beds. Fridge in room.

I travel to Japan many times and I have stayed at various hotels. It is very difficult to find a hotel so extremely well situated. Located right of the Tokyo Train Station this hotel is extremely great access from Narita Airport via the Narita Express. The check was great and quick especially after a long journey. They quick found my room and I was sleeping in no time.

The room was great as well and for Japan standards the room was larger than normal.

The restaurant served great food and I was in their every morning eating breakfast at their buffet which I recommend you upgrading to if it is not in your rate. I will suggest eating at the may restaurants around Marunouchi as the onsite restaurant is expensive and you can find many restaurants in the malls and immediate areas which will blow your mind if you like Japanese food or fusion food.

This hotel is now my all time favorite and I will be recommending this hotel to all my colleagues.

We loved this place! My 22 year old daughter and I were here on a Graduation trip. Our two twin beds faced the large picture window and we woke up and went to sleep with an expansive view of the city. It was really perfect. And the location - excellent. Size was fine, it was clean, staff was eager to assist. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

We wanted to be very close to Tokyo station, as we had heavy bags and needed to connect with the Narita express. The Metropolitan was on the high end for our budget, but we are used to spending $250 in order to get a decent room in city centres like Chicago, Seattle or Toronto. In comparison, this hotel is excellent value. The building and rooms are so modern, there was plenty of space in our room to move around and unpack, and of course everything is comfortable and clean. We had a view over the mainline tracks towards the north - a great city view of Tokyo, the corner suites also have outstanding views and helpful in room cards to explain the sights particular to your view! The massive atrium stretches right through the hotel and as a result even the corridors are interesting spaces with views down to the lobby below, not gloomy or oppressive like typical high rises. Luxurious, but more understated without 'unnecessary luxury'. The buffet was great, too. A very relaxing stay and very easy.

Room Tip: If you are not going to be spending a lot of time in your room or don't care about views, the at...

I was only there for a few short stay of two nights, but as usual the hotel and staff were excellent. The roon is always clean and properly stocked and the staff is very professional and more important, very friendly. Whenever In Toyko, I always stay here, very convenient to much places and right next to train station.
