The hotel is well located and a magnet for tour groups of all nationalities; this makes for a very crowded (small) lobby and frequently an elevator wait. However, the hotel is well located, across the street from the subway, near handy stores and restaurants, and a short walk to the palace park.
Breakfast was ample and surprisingly good, with both Japanese and western offerings. Our room for two was small and dreary, but clean and adequate for touring. Like the reviewer below, we had to store even small luggage by the door to make enough room to move around the room. The beds were very good.
Wifi did not work in the room; a neighbor came in and tested hers too, and it also did not work. Reception in the lobby was fine, as was the $1-for-10 minutes public computer in the lobby. The hotel has excellent maps of Tokyo and the subway.More
