There's really not much to see in this well kept east gardens of the Imperial Palace. Visit the Meiji Jingu Shrine that's much cooler in the summer instead.

July is not a great time to see the gardens, as very few flowers are in bloom.

However, it was nice to walk through the gardens and learn about the history of the area. The information plaques are written in English and most of the writing is legible.

Although it was raining, the walk through the beautifully maintained gardens was lovely. The water Iris display was impressive. As were the ponds with Koi Carp.
