“Peaceful place in busy Tokyo”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

Spend some time strolling in this quite and picturesque Garden. Plenty of shade and water features make it lovely. Well maintained and relaxing.

“An island of peace among Tokyo's skyscrapers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013 via mobile

I was a bit unimpressed with this park, but the visit was very pleasurable anyway. Seeing the park in mid August is perhaps not the best time of the year, but it is nonetheless a nice green oasis in the middle of Tokyo's traffic and skyscrapers. Entrance was free of charge and that made the visit all the more worthwhile.

“Oasis in a big city”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2013

You can remove yourself from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The gardens are lush in a historical setting. It is difficult to take in the historical buildings (no access) and they underplay the history of the location. Still a good place to get out and walk. I suspect spring or fall would be better than hot/humid summer.

“boring, overrated.. :(”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

We thought there is something special but there was really nothing very interesting to see, just green bushes everywhere. The nearest stop is Otemachi station. Wear comfortable shoes and bring along water bottle. You might need mosquitoes repellent too.

“A nice place to walk around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

It was a nice place to take a walk and take a few pictures. it was free to get in. Not really much to see. We were there in the summer so it was very hot and humid and very little shade. It was very clean and not crowded (maybe because of the hear).
It was in the central part of Tokyo and close to the subway.
What I found neat about it was that it was in the middle of the city.
We walked to the park from our hotel with all the people hurrying to the subways and trains.
