“Great hotel and staff and phenominal Tokyo location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2013

We throughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the beautiful, Tokyo Station Hotel. If you want an outstanding location and fine service in a Colonial style hotel, this is it. We were graciously greeted by the GM and Chief Concierge at arrival. Prior to that the bell staff awaited our arrival at the Train Station and literally carted our bags for what seemed like a mile. Top notch!

The room was beautifully decorated and looking outside in towards the Imperial Palace, what a view! The staff was routinely great and the Concierge, Mari Antoinette was wonderful. She gave us a complimentary tour of the Louis Vuitton show at the hotel which was excellent.

The renovation is outstanding and the overall product, great. I recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.

I had a very brief stay here (check-in at 10:30pm, check-out at 6am next morning to catch a train) and did not get to experience the hotel facilities and breakfast, but I was very happy with the room and overall service. I had the view of Marunouchi/ post office on the third floor. I liked the beautifully appointed bedroom and the large bathroom. Above all this hotel is extremely convenient if you are doing a rail trip out of Tokyo station as you do not need to drag your suitcases and deal with taxis (I also like Kyoto Granvia hotel for the same reason). There are also good shops and restaurants in Marunouchi office buildings across the street.

I was truly amazed at how well preserved and how tastefully done this renovated hotel looks. It truly is brought back to its glory days. Very clean, elegant, and the service is amazing! It's hard to book a room as it is now the hotel to go to, and I was just very happy to be able to experience this.
You cannot tell that just steps away is the main tokyo station with millions of commuters traveling. There are endless taxis and people walking. But inside its so quiet and serene.
Highly recommended. I had an amazing time.

Room Tip: the hallways can feel like it goes on forever! Ask for a closer room to the elevators if you do not...

The breakfast offerings at the Atrium could be better. Compared to my experience at Shangrila Hotel Tokyo the breakfast quality and range of food offered needs improvement.

The staff service quality is par excellence and specific staff members took that extra effort to assist me on my needs eg logistics of sending my bags ahead to my next destination, information on restaurant for dinner etc

This is a perfect hotel for anyone who wants to stay in Tokyo.
Check in - very quick, staff is incredibly helpful and polite.
Location - this is an amazing location. It took us under an hour to get here from Narita airport by train. It has lot of JR lines and subways lines very convenient. Also, if you are planning to travel around Japan, this is a perfect location as all the bullet trains leave from Tokyo station.
Room - very stylish room, comfortable bed, it has everything you can possibly need, very quiet and peaceful, you don't hear the trains at all.
Food - there are many restaurants in the hotel and around the hotel, really incredible choice. We ordered room service and it was delicious!
Value - comparing to hotels like Park Hyatt and Penninsula, this hotel is half the price but much better location and just as good, so this is an amazing value! You get a 5 star service and luxury for half the price, incredible!
WiFi - free wifi, very fast, we connected 2 ipads and 2 iphones, all worked very well.
Spa - we didn't try the spa, but it looks wonderful

I would also like to add that Tokyo Station Hotel is recently renovated so everything is brand new. The building itself is really stunning, it's like staying in the most beautiful building in Tokyo!
Even though the hotel is a part of the busy station, this is a very clean area, and the rooms are quiet. Across the street from the hotel is luxury shopping mall KITTE, which has a lot of interesting stores with Japanese produce, it also has Muji, lot of restaurants and cafes and very nice roof garden. It's not a mall like you know but cool glass and steel architectural delight that is a unique experience. This is an AMAZING hotel.

Tokyo Station Hotel is chic, charming and an incredible value. You could opt for one of the glass high rises like Park Hyatt but in my opinion this is a far more unique experience. The hotel was rebuilt from the ground up a few years back but somehow has maintained old world charm combined with sleek japanese amenities. All of Tokyo is super clean and safe and yet somehow this area seems even more!

Room Tip: Room Service is excellent but if you want to save a little money, check out the plethora of restaura...

Perfect Hotel in Tokyo for, ambience, location, service and value. One the best Hotels in which we've stayed in our many travels.
Could not have chosen a more convenient hotel in Tokyo given it's location at the Tokyo Station, on the JR line directly from the airport, convenience to subway lines and bullet trains and central location in Tokyo. Additionally, the accommodations, friendly staff and value, were outstanding. Not cheap, but for Tokyo and the quality of the hotel, not expensive.I'd definitely recommend the Dome Rooms
My wife was particularly pleased that the bathrooms, equipped with the latest automatic toilets, toiletry's and makeup mirrors, were designed for a women's use.
Also, the Hotel on our departure to the airport had two young lady's porters transport our bags and us directly to the Narita Express train, at no cost. Never had this level of service anywhere.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting a first class experience in Tokyo.

Room Tip: The Dome Rooms are a must.
