Conveniet location with delicious breakfast buffet

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Apr 16, 2019
We were recommended by a Tokyo friend to book online with a bit uncertainty prior to our arrival for a 4-day spring break vacation to visit old friends as well as cherry blossoms. Despite there is no direct train or bus serving between the hotel and airports, yet it is conveniently located nearby several subway lines to commute in the city. While most of rooms are tipically small, yet enough to accommodate a couple with offers of needed amenities; while hotel rooms are well maintained, rooms located at the east-wing building may be newer. The breakfast buffet is popular with varieties of Japanese and western dishes to choose from, and all the staff members are helpful and professional.

We started Japanese experience in this hotel. We had been told rooms were small in Japan. This room was roomy enough, with good facilities, clean and well serviced. Close to the cherry blossoms, lots of restaurants nearby, handy to the train, and pickup for Disneyland. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast was varied, with 2 restaurants.

I was here recently for a few days as part of an international Sake competition and I have to say it was a lovely hotel. The rooms were great. The hotel was lovely and spacious and had plenty of amenities including a convenience store attached you could access from inside the hotel. Notably the breakfast spread was amazing! There were tons of japanese items like udon and rice and miso and natto and eggs and pottage and tofu etc as well as tons of fruits, yogurt, salad, pastries, breads, juices, smoothies and teas. It was buffet style but pretty fancy and delicious.
The events I went to in the hotel were all lovely. One was a multi course dinner in a beautiful room with lovely service. The other was a portion of the sake competition in a presentation room and a reception after, both of these were also lovely. The hotel staff was always very friendly and profesional and helpful, even when we locked ourselves out of our room at 2am.
The area around is quiet but had enough cute restaurants and bars. The hotel is near enough to several different subway lines that it was pretty easy for me to get anywhere I needed to be.
One note - the iron was impossible to use. Setting one was too low an setting 2 almost burned our clothes. So maybe don’t iron here.
Might be a little on the pricier side but if you want to treat yourself it was a very nice experience.

There is no recognition or appreciation for frequent long-stay guests. My colleagues & I have stayed here several times but zero benefits for our loyalty. The hotel should implement a guest loyalty programme.

Location- Perfect location as the hotel located very close to Iidabashi metro station and the surrounding is peaceful. Easy to access famous tourist locations such as Imperial Palace, Asakusa, Shibuya etc.

Amenity- Very clean and spacious rooms with cool city view

Service- Supper good. Very polite and address the client requirements as best as they can Room service is superb. Really appreciate their service. I stayed there for one week. Actually nothing to complaint.

Food: Best ever. Their breakfast buffet has plenty of varieties (japanese food or english menu). Honestly foods are so tasty and fresh. Food is one of the the main reasons to get this positive review.

Thank you very much for your sincere service. Will come back again.

Room tip: Top floors are better, because you can get a good city view.

We stayed there to witness the cherry blossoms and lo and behold, right across the street are those pretty trees all pink! Place is perfect! Convinient store right at the ground floor, breakfast however is average. Rooms are spacious (my little girl loved it!) and the bathroom has its own bathtub/jacuzzi. Staff were friendly although it was hard to speak english to them. Bonus points: bus can pick you up right at the hotel when going to tokyo disneyland! Schedule is right on time ( of course! This is japanese people we are talking about ). Highly recommended👍🏻
