I was here recently for a few days as part of an international Sake competition and I have to say it was a lovely hotel. The rooms were great. The hotel was lovely and spacious and had plenty of amenities including a convenience store attached you could access from inside the hotel. Notably the breakfast spread was amazing! There were tons of japanese items like udon and rice and miso and natto and eggs and pottage and tofu etc as well as tons of fruits, yogurt, salad, pastries, breads, juices, smoothies and teas. It was buffet style but pretty fancy and delicious.
The events I went to in the hotel were all lovely. One was a multi course dinner in a beautiful room with lovely service. The other was a portion of the sake competition in a presentation room and a reception after, both of these were also lovely. The hotel staff was always very friendly and profesional and helpful, even when we locked ourselves out of our room at 2am.
The area around is quiet but had enough cute restaurants and bars. The hotel is near enough to several different subway lines that it was pretty easy for me to get anywhere I needed to be.
One note - the iron was impossible to use. Setting one was too low an setting 2 almost burned our clothes. So maybe don’t iron here.
Might be a little on the pricier side but if you want to treat yourself it was a very nice experience.
