Stayed 4 nights in October 2012. Had first two nights on my own, then joined a JTB "Sunrise Tour" with pickup at the door. Airport limo from Narita also stops here. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenience store across the street, Kudanshita Station 2 minutes walk away, and out the door and to the left there is a nice shopping and dining area. Easy walk to Imperial Palace area.
Very quiet at night, comfortable bed, full bath, large rooms for Japan. Free in-room internet, large window, well-lit at night.
Received a relatively good price through a travel agent in Toronto who booked me through the Japanese language hotel website, paying 45% less than 2 other travellers from Buffalo and Toronto.
I would recommend this hotel for a solo traveller. Not for someone looking for nightlife, but wanting amenities nearby in a safe, quiet neighbourhood. There were several solo female travellers while I was there, connecting with Sunrise Tours for part of our stay. Other women were in Tokyo with partners who were on business during the day, and so found it convenient to take day tours from the hotel.More
