“VERY WELL LOCATED, COMFORTABLE ROOMS AND FRIENDLY STAFF.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2012

Hotel is well located near the Tokyo Station and within walking distance of Ginza.
The rooms are good size, comfortable, modern, but can get noisy with the Shinkensens running close by.
Do avail of the "platform service' if you plan to arrive at the Tokyo Station, it is very helpful especially if you are going to arrive with luggage.

Examined the options in Tokyo and this was the best choice by far. Not only is it beautifully designed, it is in the best location. Close to both Tokyo station which takes you anywhere, it is also an easy walk to Chuo-dori in Ginza and all the great shops and restaurants. It was a very safe area with lots to do all the time.

The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the street or the train station. After two weeks in a small basic hotel in Kyoto this was like heaven!

But the staff at the hotel are the real stars. They are the nicest, kindest people. Starting with the valet who met me at my train through to the sweet young woman who took me (and my luggage) to the airport limousine bus (and waited until the bus left) they were all lovely. The restaurant and bar are beautiful and the food is delicious (and the staff terrific).

One thing you have to watch is to make sure cab drivers take you to this lesser-known Four Seasons. Stress the "Marunouchi" part and make sure to watch where they're going. Carry a hotel card with you to hand to the driver.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone going to Tokyo and I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Can't go wrong with a room here. Don't worry about overlooking the train station. The room...

Just came back from my 5th trip to Tokyo. This is my second time at the Four Season Marunouchi, and they provide an amazing experience. My wife and I go to Tokyo, as it is our favorite city in the world, and the Four Seasons makes it easy to be in a city that some find quite extreme.

Pick up service at Tokyo Station - You get off your flight in Narita, buy your Narita Express ticket, call the hotel up with your train number, car and seat. 45 minutes later your train arrive in Tokyo Station, and a bell staff is waiting at your train to assist with your luggage and to navigate you through the complexity of the station. They do the same service on the way back. What a pleasure.

Since they know you are on a train, your check-in is flawless, and everything is ready for you, with someone waiting to bring you to your room.

We've never had a bad view, but since the rooms are only up to the 6th floor of the building, look out and watch what appear to be the most organized ants going to work in the morning.

Breakfast is a treat (a bit expensive, but this is the Four Seasons, so it's expected). However, everyone knows who you are, remembers what you had the day before, and brings you that extra cup of hot water for your tea, without even asking for it.

Room Service - Took about 30 minutes, not too bad. But get this, the food cart has a warming part, and your food is HOT when it arrives.

One night we arrived back in our room with a bottle of champagne and berries, as a thank you. Now, I would assume not everyone gets this, but it was greatly appreciated.

There are umbrellas at the front door, bikes to borrow if you want to be adventurous (or just ride around the Imperial Gardens), and the door staff always knows your name, and makes sure you had a good day, typically escorting you to the elevator.

Only 57 rooms, that are quite large by Tokyo standards. Very comfortable linens, multiple robes, pajamas, tea service, electric bidet/toilet, large tub, and separate shower.

The hotel is just a special place.

Stayed for 4 nights during a business trips. The service was excellent: very personal, making you feel at home. But even better, where the beds. It was my first time in Tokyo, and the Four Seasons made it easy diving into such a great city. I will definitely go back next time I am in Tokyo.

The most wonderful aspect of staying at the Four Seasons at Marunouchi is that it feels like you are staying at home. The Park Hyatt may be more imposing and have an unequalled zen-like atmosphere but for quiet relaxation and a home away from home, you can't beat this hotel. The rooms are great; well appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable and inviting. the Wi-fi is lightning fast and it is easy to use. Room service is prompt and the food is excellent. Most of all it is the quiet, personal and warm service that makes the Four Seasons stand out. No request is too big or too small and the smiling faces are a welcome end to a busy work day. If given the choice between the Park Hyatt and The Four Seasons at Marunouchi I know where I will be ... back in my personal haven at Pacific Century Place ... The Four Seasons.

Room Tip: The car service from Narita to the hotel is not inexpensive but it makes the transfer easy and relax...
