Loved the location. Brand new with a contemporary style. We were celebrating our honeymoon and this was a wonderful place to stay. Decently sized rooms, beautiful rooftop patio and great access to restaurants and the subway. We were on the 13th floor and we loved it!! Patio was wonderful, but a little chilly in January even with the heaters out. I would love to return and enjoy it in the summer! The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful! Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again!!

This new contemporary hotel is conveniently located a block from Yurakucho and Ginza stations and has rooms of various sizes, shapes and prices. We liked our essential double room for two persons because of its well designed space with separate shower and bath and a view of the train tracks. Nice lobby/lounge with nightly live music. We enjoyed a reasonably priced prix fixe lunch in the restaurant and happy hour drinks in the bar. When the weather warms, the outdoor patio overlooking Ginza will be nice; it was too cold for us in January. We experienced curious hiccups in service (ie, requiring payment upfront for everything from rooms to bar drinks, brusque front desk service) that downgraded our overall experience, but we hope these problems will be resolved over time. We did not visit the rooftop lounge that is only accessible to hotel guests in the morning; other times, it’s reserved for guests in deluxe rooms and suites. We would not hesitate to return to the Gate Tokyo when we want a full-service hotel because of its convenient location, modern design and reasonably priced, well designed rooms.

Great location at Ginza, nice view especially skyscrapers of ginza and shinkansen. Romantic and at the same time live movie of railway and highway.
Kids just loved watching Shinkansen and cars!
銀座駅から徒歩3分のとても便利な場所にあります。新幹線や高速道路の車を眺めることができるので、子供がとても喜びました。

The hotel had only been open 1 week prior to our stay. 5-star accommodation's in the heart of Tokyo. As with all such locations, walking distance to all the dining, shopping and transportation you could hope for. Comfortable, spacious room with a wonderful view of the skyline. Wonderful lounge on the 13th floor with outdoor seating to enjoy the view.

The hotel itself is worth every penny and we would definitely stay there again.

We recently spent 3 nights at this newly opened hotel. The location is perfect for walking / shopping/ dining. It’s a stones throw away from ginza metro exit C2. If you are. Arriving at yukorucho station it’s just 3 mins walk. The service is impeccable and efficient. Conceirge is 24 hours . It’s close to so many casual / upscale restaurants- many ramen places within 2 mins walk from the hotel are opened till 5am. Also very conveniently located ( literally 2 mins walk) near the Access Narita bus which is only 70 mins away from the airport @ 1000 yen per adult! Rooms are very big compared to normal Japanese hotels. We stayed at the classic room which is a little more spacious with huge bathrooms (there are Bathtube and walk in shower) abs the bathroom is separated. All in all - it’s great bang for buck ! Will definitely stay here again! Thanks the Gate Tokyo for making our stay so enjoyable !
