Luxury at it's finest - I couldn't fault Shangri-La from the moment I stepped into its entrance. I was lucky to be upgraded - and what a sight I was greeted with: the Tokyo Skytree was in view amongst the beautiful skyline of Tokyo.

The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful bathroom complete with a contemporary waterfall shower and in-built bath overseeing a spectacular panorama of the city skyline. Free wifi and a host of world channels on the TV made the stay that much more comfortable.

Breakfast was gorgeous and the menu quite varied - something for everyone. I was particularly enamoured with the various fruit juices and muesli!

My flight was relatively early in the morning and knowing the enormity of Tokyo station, decided to check out early. Although last minute, the concierge offered me to be escorted by a delightful bell boy all the way to my platform and carriage!

From the concierge to the beautiful king size beds and a spectacular view to boot, I enjoyed every second of my stay. My first and definitely not my last - will return when I am next back in Japan.

Spent 3 nights at the end of August. Really enjoyed my time at the hotel. Was there for business and needed to be central so this fit the bill just perfect. Food was great and slept like a log. Awesom hotel.

I've stayed at Shangri-La Tokyo 4 times so far (once every year since 2010) and the hotel has maintained its quality and standards throughout the years! The location is perfect as you got the main station only few minutes away by walking distance so you can easily access most places in Tokyo! The service is great and they were always happy to welcome us back! The rooms are very nice and the hotel lobby lounge is great! Simply my favorite hotel in Tokyo!

Exceleent location, most comfirtable rooms, and very well trained professinal but yet friendly staff!

They made us feel most comfirtable!

Yummy breakfast!

Couldnt find a flaw, everything is great!

Pricey but worth a visit if you can afford it!

Several hotels at this price doesnt necesarrily offer such service and luxury!

Room Tip: Request for high floor and bay side view! Get gold club membership, pay for one breakfast and second person doesnt have to pay for breakfast!

I travel quite a lot both in business and leisure and I probably can´t say this is the best hotel in the world but is the best one I`ve ever been!

The service is well above the japanese standard (that is very high!), perfect location at Tokyo station and close to many attractions and restaurants. The panoramic city views from the room are simply superb and the quality of everything from the bed to the toilet are amazing. Even the lifts are great!

The only thing that didn´t really surprise me was the health club. The pool and gym are quite small and just Ok.

It is definitely pricey but worth every penny.

Room Tip: Corner rooms views are spectacular
