Eisei Bunko Foundation
Ranked #16 of 212 things to do in Bunkyo
Certificate of Excellence
Attraction details
Reviewed April 21, 2013

The building itself is worth seeing: a former townhouse owned by the ruling lords of Samurai in Kumamoto in the Edo era, its architectural features are under renovation until the end of November, but on a previous visit I enjoyed seeing the valuable and historically important cultural properties in the collection. Admission is only JPY600.
