Owner description: A fun way to spend the day in Tokyo for both adults and children. Full of great shops and eateries as well as rollercoaster rides and live entertainment shows for children.

Seeing the world famous Tokyo Dome is great but after you are done shopping at the baseball shop, Tokyo Dome City offers a huge selection of stores and restaurants as well as an amazing spa to take a hot dip in. Definitely an all day affair.

We went right when it opened on a weekday morning to try the roller coaster, and ended up riding it twice - it was good, a little pricey, but good

i visited the tokyo dome in january when i went japan. the place was real nice and there was plenty to do. the aqua spa roller coaster ride was great and i recommend the 3d ride (wish we had something like that in the uk).

there was a water slide ride that was a nice - an ideal place for grown ups and children. the tokyo dome itself is a spectacle, it plays home to japans baseball team. there are shops around it for food, refreshments and souvenirs.

there was also an otaku event taking place when we visited so was nice to see alot of students dressed up in cosplay. i took a couple of pictures with some but later was politely pointed out that it is not custom practice to do this. people at the tokyo dome and japan as a whole i found v friendly and welcoming.

I had a great morning/afternoon at the La Qua spa at the Tokyo Dome(Korakuen subway). I went with a friend and enjoyed the indoor/outdoor onsen(males/females segregated). We also booked a wonderful akasuri(scrub). It was great, very relaxing, and a must-try. For additional money, you can pay to go up to the upper level, but I won't do that next time. There was not much to do up there. You go up in your spa clothes(given to you), and there are several saunas, a color therapy room, a cool room(where you can watch jelly-fish swim). I think it was more of a place for people to hang out and spend time. Also had lunch at another level, very reasonably priced. There are so many massages and treatments you can book, so there is something for everyone. I will definately go back again, as a foreigner, it was easy to navigate.
