“Why would you visit this site? A must see sight for the tourist?”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

To not have all the hate mail, please understand not every Traveler See's the world the same way... I have been around... I have travel extensively in the USA and parts of the world... I would much rather sit for 15 mins talking to a local than spend it at the Blood Compact Site. I live across the Street from the old Site... The New Site is under construction! There is no parking but along the side of the road so Large Bus or Van your in traffic with many running across the road to spend a few moments. looking at a view I see everyday. The monument itself is a scrap book item at best... The history of the site few outside the GEEK Squad care about 15th century history. So if your looking for the Cool time, party fun, or just want see what bohol is like... Rent a Motorcycle or car and travel down the road....

All the tour operators stop at this site... let's be real from where ever in the world you come from road side Monuments exist... did you ever visit the ones near you? If you really interested in history come touch and feel the site! Want to get a feel for Bohol and the Philippines get off the BUS! Meet people, Look around! More than 1/2 of the sites on these tour packages I would not be interested In Seeing! Read reviews!

“A must see.. but crowded!”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

We spent only about 15mins on this place since there were lots of tourists taking pictures on the monument. I wanted to have my photo beside the monument but it was too crowded and the place is not that big enough. So I just took the chance to enjoy the view of the sea behind it.
It's always nice to see memorable places like this.
Great historical place!

A very simple ride to get to the Blood Compact Monument. This sight has much historical importance to the people of Bohol. During the day, you will people at the sight taking pictures. Also, from the location, you can also take a picture of Dauis which is right across the water from Tagbilaran.

“Nice memorable site.”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Nice to have visited this place to see the exact site where the Spanish and Filipino great people agreed for peace and friendship in this small island province.

I am proud to be a Boholano. And the seal of friendship was done here. Not to mention that the longest revolt was in this island of Bohol too.
