Just came back from a wonderful weekend. very nice place, recently opened. Good locataion, nice view to the river and the mountains. Rooms are nice, but not very big. New bathrooms. Staff is very friendly. Dinner was terrible. The fish smelled but they offered another dish. We ordered 5 plated, hardly touched them and paid over 230 soles. Even the fries were bad.
garden is beautiful and peacefull. One could definitely relax there. make sure you get a qoute by email to avoid misunderstanding.
For attractions we went directly to agencies rather than reserve through the hotel- cost much less that way.
Used Aventura extremas for rafting with Jelder as our guide- experienced and patient with the kids. the quadrimoto- is not that exciting. Bare in mind that if you are rafting with kids- make sure you come on the dry season, when the water level is low.
