We only got to stay here for one night but it was fantastic. Arrived late afternoon and were shown to our lovely mini-cottage style room. Had a walk around the grounds and spent a few hours in the hot springs as darkness fell - beautiful experience. Dinner at the inside restaurant was good, we chose a la carte rather than the buffet and felt this was a much better choice, both in quality of food and value. Wine was good. My only complaint was that we couldn't have stayed longer but we had a trip to see condor's which requires an early drive. Overall this was a great place in a beautiful valley. Also liked the ecological aspects of the operations.

A great place to stay after our morning observing the condors in the canyon. The Lodge is located across the river not far from the small town of Yanque. The Lodge has its own hot springs that are free but you can also use the spa facilities if you pay for a massage. After an early start (3AM) and a fair bit of travelling, the hot spring was a great way to relax before supper. The meal we had had the Lodge's restaurant was enjoyable. We also visited the llama and alpacas that the Lodge keeps just across the river. They have several interesting videos to watch that provide info on these animals.

We only had one night here but I could easily have stayed another night.

The Colca lodge is set in a beautiful valley amidst lovely scenery, it has several hot spring pools right next to the river. It is such a wonderful place to relax,we thoroughly enjoyed lounging in the hot pools, sipping a drink from the bar nearby whilst chatting to other guests. The food was excellent both in the evening and at breakfast with plenty of choice. The rooms were rustic but comfortable although we thought the lights could have been a bit brighter especially in the bathroom. We had hoped to stay at Colca Lodge for two nights but unfortunately only ended up with one night due to a local strike which prevented us travelling from Puno. We so wished we could have stayed longer! I can highly recommend this lodge.

If you're complaining about not having wifi in the rooms you're doing it all wrong.

This hotel is in one of the most gorgeous places in all of South America and it has it's own hot springs.

The level of service and the beauty of the hotel for truly being in the middle of nowhere was a testament to how wonderful this place is.

I just wish I could have stated longer - absolutely priceless.

Unfortunately we only stayed here for one night -- would have loved a week. The location in the Colca Canyon area, right along the river in the mountains, was an incredible setting. The Lodge has several natural hot pools right along side the river. The rooms were very nice, in a bit of rustic decor but comfortable, clean and plenty of hot water. The common areas were picturesque and delightful, and the food absolutely top notch (both dinner and breakfast). Highly recommended. A bit away from city life but perfect for a relaxing stay.

Room Tip: They are all good.
