“Lovely place to stay!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2014 via mobile

This was a lovely place to stay. We had a "family" room as we had our 2 children but it was great as it was 2 adjoining rooms. They were happy with their own tv and we could unwind in "our" room after a few lovely days out. The rooms are very light, airy & well stocked. You only have to ask if you need more. They even put the heating on for us in August (rain & chilly all day!).

The food was amazing! When you look at the menu you think "typical pub menu", which was fine, but when it was served it was NOT pub food! It was a restaurant. No microwave in sight. The kids meals were just as fab. You have to eat here! I was hungry after a long journey so chose a large portion but I shouldn't have! The small is plenty for the average person! The coleslaw is like nothing I've tasted!

Breakfast was just as good. Whatever you wanted, however you wanted it. Lovely coffee! A great start to the day.

If we come this way again we would DEFINITELY stay again. Near enough to main roads & Skegness but far enough away. We really enjoyed it!

If you're reading this @ The Bell, thank you. It was a fab place to stay.

“Excellent food”

Ate with a group of friends really nice food, not your typical Lincolnshire meal very well presented and very tasty. Ideal for a casual meal would recommend and great value for money. Puddings are good too.

“New Landlords make the place amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2014 via mobile

I've just had my Wedding Reception here and I must say the new Landlord and Landlady are working extremely hard on the place and the results are paying off. The buffet food was absolutely delicious, all homemade and plenty to go round. I'm planning on going there for a meal after tasting the food. Andrea pulled out all the stops on the decorations and made it look magical. I would absolutely recommend the place and don't be put off by previous reviews as there is now new Landlords.

“Nice place, terrible food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2014 via mobile

I visited this place in February for a meal with friends, the bar was clean and tidy and had a very friendly atmosphere, unfortunately that's where the good review ends. The staff seemed friendly enough, a little disorganised but polite. We orderd food (a tad over priced) and was served within 30 minutes. The food arrived before the table was set. The food was not good, microwaved, some cold, thick gravy, not enough veg (and what there was was partially raw). I would recommend this place for a drink, but not for a meal. 4/10
