We visited here at the weekend, we had booked and advised we would be bringing our dog. We were seated in the pub part as dogs are not allowed in the restaurant beside a roaring fire. The food, service and atmosphere were all very good. The restaurant was very busy and we arrived slightly late as the pub is located quite a few miles out of Fording bridge . However we were served quickly. The meal was more expensive that the other pubs we visited during our time in the New forest. Starters were about £7 per head, steak about £19 and Desert £6 wine was £11 a half carafe. All in all a lovely meal, I would come back and loved the fact my dog could sleep under our table by the fire. I wish other places were as dog friendly as the New Forest.
