We have a great 2 weeks in this cottage. Great place next door for a drink or meal.
The garden is wonderful and spent quite a bit of time on the terrace in the evenings.
Good base to travel to other parts, Dinan was lovely but glad we didn't stay there, the port
was a good destination for eating.
We did spend most of out time out and about but found some great places locally, really good take out pizza in Lanvallay.
Coot Cottage is choc-full of paintings (some by the talented owner) and objets d'art, all carefully placed to create a harmonious, homely, whole. The cottage garden combines fruit trees and raspberry bushes with beautiful flower beds, many pots of big-headed geraniums and a deck complete with comfy seating from which to view the lovely scene.
On first entering Coot Corner you might be unnerved to find toiletries in the bathrooms, dressing gowns hanging on the door, family photos on display and food in the freezer. If you let it, soon you will sink into the house's embrace and relax. The experience if more like a home-swap than a holiday rental and we loved it, helped no doubt by wall-to-wall sunshine during our week there.
