Outstanding!! This place is a local favorite with very reasonable prices. Great seafood and friendly chef-owner explained everything in detail in English. I had Squid stuffed with shrimp and a potato puree. Excellent. They also have a great Sardinian beer!

The atmosphere is simple and pleasant. Inferno is Hell as Dante wrote and the restaurant has paintings expressing such. The cuisine is elegant but simple and great for everyone. The portions are well-balanced so that you can enjoy the entire meal. The waiters explain the ingredients making it a conversation piece. CERTAINLY PARADISE.

The name of the restaurant may refer to Dante's Inferno but be re-assured that this is a piece of culinary heaven in Sarzana. As you go down the stairs you will be taken by surprise by the cozy and small size of the restaurant. And that's a good thing. The chef with his wife enjoy taking their time to cook well and for few. Do not be afraid by the chef's (Massimo) strict look. Once you break the ice he is very nice and happy to suggest different dishes. You sense that he is passionate about his cuisine and wants his clients to enjoy it the way he cooks it. The menu offers antipasti, some pasta dishes, meat and fish. We tried a bit of everything and it was delicious. The variety of the four antipasti left everyone impressed. Well cooked, balanced between fresh ingredients and sauce. The ravioli with ragu were extremely good too. Careful balanced portions where ingredients co-exist and blend nicely. Fish with a fine crust of cheese, capers and cherry tomatoes was a delight. Beautifully light cooked, sprinkled with olive oil, some crunchy roast potatoes and a rich flavour of caper, olives and tomatoes. Perfect! The pasta with sea food was also nice. Wine cold wine was perfect to accompany our dishes and a variety of original desserts. Tiramisu with coconut, cheesecake with chocolate. All very creative and fine. If you happen to be in the area stop by. You would need to reserve.
